Fiction Prompt: Someone must have seen him because the police were at his door.
I heard a gunshot from our neighbor. When I went outside to know who was that. It was Arn, a 30-year-old ex-convict. He was in prison years ago because of drug trafficking. He didn't stay for long in the cell because someone paid for him to go out. He was fortunate that his case was bailable.
Just today he was lying outside his house with blood. No one saw who did it because according to the police. "The dead body was found already when they arrived." I don't know if the Police were telling the truth since I saw them from a window that they were there already before that gunshot.
They must cover themselves for doing that kind of action. Before Arn was killed, there were rumours already that the Police were searching for him. Just an assumption only that Arn was going back on his old job. You could say it's a job because that's how he feeds himself to live. He was doing drug trafficking in a different town.
I just feel pity towards Arn because from what I know. He was a kind man and loving to his wife. I guess it's really true that "No one is above the law." He went outside from a cell because of some person behinds that scene. However, outside he was still vulnerable.
I just thought that it's not right for lying. It was so obvious lies from the Police officers. Many people in the village saw them there and yet they still lied from it. I know recently many Police officers are doing bad things these days. No one can't touch them since they are the law in this City.
I know that it's hard to after these Police since they own those offices. Even so, I'm sure in myself that the Police are the criminal in this incidents.
