Hello friends, I got braces. I took my first step in a long and painful process, I hope the time will pass quickly and I will share photos here with my straightened teeth after removing my braces.
The process started as follows, after I decided to get braces, I phoned dozens of dentists. I followed the days of orthodontists and went to the appointments that suited me and got the price first. Their prices are really quite expensive. Payment methods, installments, down payments etc.. I found a doctor I felt comfortable with and we started the process.
It will be about 2 weeks since I got my braces. Before I had them put on, I met with my boyfriend and had a nice sprinkle breakfast :)) Because as you know, it is forbidden to eat comfortably and consume some foods while you have braces. As such, we enjoyed the last morning. Then we set off to go to the dentist. I was very nervous all the way until I got to the middle of the braces process.
My fiancé liked my braces very much, I of course felt strange at first, but now I don't even feel it:)) First, they were only put on my upper teeth so that I could get used to them. The next day I couldn't eat breakfast, I could say I didn't eat anything. My biggest supporter in this adventure will be soup. My mom cooked different soups every day so that my stomach would be full. I constantly drink soup at work and I am glad that there is soup :))))
I think I couldn't sleep only one night for now because of the pain. One night I took painkillers and slept. But now almost two weeks have passed and I feel like I'm used to it. The only thing that makes me hard is brushing my teeth all the time, it is very important to clean them after every meal. In another post, maybe I will talk about the things to be careful about cleaning.
I try not to eat too much sweets but I crave sweets like crazy, I hope I won't regret it in the future. I also consume less coffee to avoid stains :( If you are 24 years old and have braces, life is really hard ahahhaa
Finally, let me talk about the price, in case anyone is curious. The doctor recommended two types to me, ceramic brackets and metal brackets. There was a price difference of 10 thousand Turkish Liras between them. Since I thought that I would not be very uncomfortable with the metal appearance and ceramic brackets were difficult to remove, I preferred metal and it was more convenient. So I will pay 40 thousand Turkish Lira instead of 50 thousand, which corresponds to approximately 1500 dollars in dollars.

Taktırmadan önce sevgilimle buluşup son güzel bir serpme kahvaltısı yaptım doya doya :)) Çünkü malumunuz diş teli varken rahat yemek yemek ve bazı besinleri tüketmek yasak. Hal böyle olunca son sabahın tadını çıkarttık. Daha sonra dişçiye gitmek için yola koyulduk. Yol boyunca çok gergindim taaa ki diş teli takılma işlemin ortalarına gelene kadar.
Diş tellerimi nişanlım çok beğendi, ben tabii ki başta bir garipsedim ama şuan hissetmiyorum bile:)) İlk önce sadece üst dişlerime takıldı ki biraz alışayım diye. Ertesi gün kahvaltı yapamadım. Hiç bir şey yemedim desem yeri var. Bu macerada en büyük destekçim çorba olacak. Annem her gün farklı çorbalar pişirdi ki karnım doysun diye. İşyerinde de sürekli çorba içiyorum iyi ki çorba var :))))
Ağrıdan sanırım şimdilik sadece bir gece uyuyamadım. Bir gece de ağrı kesici alıp uyudum. Ama şuan neredeyse iki hafta geçti ve alıştım gibi hissediyorum. Beni tek zorlayan sürekli diş fırçalamak oluyor, her yemekten sonra temizlemek çok önemliymiş. Bir başka postta da belki temizlikte dikkat edilmesi gerekenlerden bahsederim.
Çok tatlı yememeye özen gösteriyorum ama canım deli gibi tatlı çekiyor umarım ilerde bunun için pişman olmam. Kahve de daha az tüketir oldum leke bırakmaması için :(( 24 yaşınsaysanız ve diş telleriniz varsa hayat gerçekten çok zor ahhahaa
Son olarak da fiyattan bahsedeyim belki merak edeniniz vardır. Doktor bana iki çeşit önerdi seramik braketler ve metal braketler. Aralarında 10 bin Türk Lirası fiyat farkı vardı. Ben metal görünümden çok rahatsız olmayacağımı düşündüğümden ve seramik braketlerin çıkartırken zor olmasından dolayı metal tercih ettim hem daha uygun oldu. Yani 40 bin Türk Lirası ödeyeceğim 50 bin yerine bu da dolar olarak yaklaşık 1500 dolara tekabül ediyor.
