I'm not very good at taking photos and mostly leave that task to my guy who is much better at it; it's best that way because we get a decent photo rather than something terrible I've photographed.
I take photos now and then though, usually on my phone, however I've been commandeering my boy's camera a little lately as well, and despite them usually being awful I keep them as memories and look at them now and then, reminders of where we have been and what we have done.
I tend to get the angle wrong, or the light, apparently that matters? I'm often guilty of getting my fingers in the way of the lens too and not noticing until later when the photo opportunity has passed...you see why I leave it to the man?
When I saw this scenery contest I felt inclined to show off my terrible photography from a few places we've been and feel ok about it because I'm hoping the amazing scenery takes the focus off my less than amazing photography skills.
My guy and I love the outdoors and when at home we look for outdoor experiences as often as possible rather than finding things to do inside. When travelling, our trips are usually based around outdoor places and natural surroundings, camping, hiking, adventure activities, picnics and so on and we have been to some of the most amazing places and seen some scenery for sure.
It wasn't difficult to pick some photos out for this post because I don't have very many good ones. The selections in this post are shots I've taken on my phone and are about the best of the bunch so hey, at least I tried.
Created for the scenery contest in the outdoors and more community.
