Hello dear Hivers in the Outdoors and more community, I just had an overnight camping trip on an oasis, and it was so enjoyable that I would like to share it with you right away. It is a small oasis located on the vast Dak Tang Lake of Dak Tang Commune, Kon Plong District. Dak Tang Lake is actually a hydroelectric lake. When people built a hydroelectric dam, the water of the Dak Bla river rose to form a large lake. However, there are still oases jutting out in the middle of the lake. Those were actually hilltops. And me and my friends had an enjoyable camping trip at such an oasis.
To get to the oasis we of course used a boat. We loaded all the necessary camping gear on the boat. We chose a remote oasis, so it took us over an hour to get there. On the boat there, we also admired the wonderful beauty of nature at Dak Tang Lake. Dak Tang Lake has a rich flora and fauna ecosystem both on land and in the water. It also has a lot of hidden corners, making it feel like walking into the Amazon jungle.
It was a secret oasis so it was completely isolated from the outside world. It is a private oasis, nestled among the surrounding nature. The first feeling when we got there was excitement because we were the only ones on the oasis and there was no one around. Only us in the vast space.
We had arrived at the oasis around 4:30pm, so we had to quickly choose a campsite, still move things from the boat to the oasis, collect firewood to build a campfire and set up things. We are a little bit of experience so everything happened fast. It got dark pretty quickly so we didn't have much time to explore around. However, we had a wonderful evening cooking together, enjoying delicious dinners, chatting through the night and enjoying the peace of vast nature. After that we all had a good night's sleep in cozy tents.
And finally my long awaited time has come. It was early morning at the oasis. In the early morning, fog covers everything, creating a magical scene. We had camped to the east, so from the campsite we could admire the wonderful beauty of the sunrise. The rays of sunlight through the forest and the fog look magical. I spent some time rowing SUP on the lake to enjoy the fresh, peaceful morning and beautiful nature. Then have breakfast and coffee with friends before tidying up and heading home. It was truly a wonderful and memorable camping trip for me with my friends.
I hope, through my photos, you also feel the excitement from this camping trip. Thank you for taking the time to read my post. Have a good day.
