First off this takes away the rights of so many youth that are 18 years old and legally allowed to join the military. You can have one of these as a soldier that's full auto at the age of 17. But you're not allowed to buy the same semi-automatic rifle when you're 18?
Next up frames and receivers and gun parts are under threat they are sneaking all this and putting all this together along with bump stock bans.
Single-handedly this is the most dangerous Bill the United States is looking at towards limiting the second amendment.
Of course making a huge pile of parts and accessories illegal is absolutely just a stupid idea.
So of course recently I picked up some more mags. So I'm full up on standard capacity mags.
I have feeling this is going to end up being an extremely important investment here in the future if this bill even passes at all.
Oh and I also found out that I have a couple more mags that are not in the picture so that's pretty cool.
So basically there is going to be exemptions for police and law enforcement however the common people are not going to be allowed to buy or own new magazines and they're going to work on most likely limiting all magazines to 10 rounds or less from now on.
Which is absolutely silly because you can just put another magazine in and continue firing. The offset is negligible. So I'm just going to continue seeing infringements on the second amendment and huge push as well this administration currently is in power with their attempt to change the laws of the nation for political gain.
Really this is a meaningless and totally a waste of time when we already have plenty of laws and we're not having gun problem we are having mental health situations where these situations keep coming up due to over medicated individuals as well as lack of identification and Community support for the situations.
From workplace shootings to these crazy idiots shooting up schools movie theaters nightclubs and more.
If the community was armed like they should be, then these dangerous Mass shooters would live in fear that just some random person would put them down as they're attempting to live out their delusional fantasies.
Absolutely pretty crazy that this would happen. However absolutely we are looking at quite a bit of overreaction and unnecessary Law changes as well as the infringement of the second amendment.
And all of this is by design because a freely armed populace is able to take care of criminals easily.
A really famous bank robber gang decided to rob a small town credit Union that was not insured by the federal government. In fact the town had everybody's life savings. The entire population of the Town started shooting back with everything from shotguns to deer rifles to even 22 rifles. Yep even the small 22 caliber rimfire rifles joined the conflict and absolutely shredded and destroyed the bank robbers gang which I believe only the main leader and a relative of his were able to escape with the entire rest of the gang being morally wounded.
Personally one time I walked into a gas station to get some gas for my motorcycle and I still wearing my motorcycle helmet with a 22 rifle slung over my shoulder.
Middle of nowhere and everybody was extremely odd. I just threw $5 on the counter and asked for gas. I turned around and walked outside and started filling my gas tank and the tank didn't take the entire full $5 bill. So I wandered inside to get my change and the entire atmosphere of the individuals inside the store was completely different.
Just as I got my change I decided to ask why the attitude change and it's because they had assumed I'm not here to rob the store.
Which of course I then ask how many individuals were ready to plug me had I not paid for my gas...
All of them were ready to plug me. And absolutely everyone was armed.
And a couple of those handguns were more on the range of handheld artillery. Which would make this gas station one of the safest places to be. They don't get robbed and criminals know that to attempt this is a certain death sentence so they just decide to go home or go get a job instead of trying to rob this gas station.
Like I said we have a mental illness problem and crazy people problem we do not have a gun problem. If crazy people decide to use a gun then they need to be prosecuted for that.
And really I laid the school shooting blame on the hands of the school administration for not clearly identifying this problem and not clearly doing more prevented by arming teachers as well as providing children with the means to escape.
However on the subject of arming teachers if certain teachers cannot legally be around a firearm how can they even be around a child or be responsible for the safety and protection of them?
I absolutely do believe that with the massive amount of homeless veterans we could absolutely have armed vetted knowledgeable veterans to guard all of our schools as well as directly providing them with additional mental health resources and support on a constant basis? All of these support systems are absolutely needed in our communities.
Unfortunately gun control is just political.
