Hello HIVE friends, today I will share my story about Loyang Koro Cave in ACEH, specifically in the city of Takengon. The cave is very beautiful and enchanting, but it is not only this beauty that I will tell you about, but how I struggled to get to this beautiful place because I know that to enjoy beauty there must be sacrifices even if it is only just energy.
Initially I didn't have any plans to come to this place because my husband and I just wanted to go to the beach, but it turned out I got lost and I arrived at this place, and to get to this road my husband and I had to ride a two-wheeler on the edge of the ravine at the bottom. it is the ocean. My thoughts were a little negative about this, because my husband and I didn't understand the road conditions at all, I just kept praying that nothing would happen when we passed this road.
From the main road to this cave we only need about 30 minutes, but it is very exciting. When I arrived at the edge of this cave I started to get a little scared because the place was very dark, I didn't know what was inside and I was very afraid if there were reptiles in it, for example there were snakes, one of the animals that I was very afraid of and animals other venomous. although to be able to enter this place there is a guide.
To be able to enjoy the beautiful sculptures created by nature, I had to struggle a little to walk squatting and it was muddy because of the water droplets on the rocks in the cave itself, plus I had the wrong costume and wore white trousers when I went there and the result was My trousers were very dirty with lots of mud splashes in the cave. And this is something that is very tiring, because when I squat, my calves hurt all over and when I looked at my cellphone it turned out that I had been squatting for 10 minutes. However, it turns out that my initial fears did not come true, because this cave is very beautiful with all the natural stone carvings. Even though entering this cave drained my energy, the beauty I got was worth enjoying and paid for with all my exhausted energy. However, I didn't dare to stay long in this cave just to rest and I could only rest outside the cave and enjoy the view of the beach.
