Hey there Hiveians!
This is my first time posting on this community and I just want to share with you my experience from last week about my first-ever solo camping along the mountain.
It happens last Monday night during the long holiday weekend I'm not that prepared but I know that I can survive it cause I grew up in this mountainous area I mastered every step of climbing to reach the place where I can set up my tent and spend my night.
I only have a few pieces of equipment with me and those are:
- Tent
- Mat
- mini knife
- mini led light and batteries
- foods
- coffee
- water
- Flashlight
My tent and equipment are not for extreme activities I used them for my beach camping glad that there was no rain on that day I manage to survive tho.
This is my simple setup, not that good but I know it's enough to warm me up through the night
I have my pillow and my jacket so that cold will never be a problem plus I borrowed this folding bed so I can enjoy staring at the moon and stars.
Thanks to the flashlight and video recorder, I can get some awesome solo shots, proper angle is the key! lol
same spot at different hours the photo on the left side was taken around 11 PM while on the right side was taken in the morning at exactly 5:30 AM.
I started another day with a cup of coffee with this relaxing view, I'm so grateful that I experienced this kind of activity.
Best for self-reflection and realizations, I also convinced myself that maybe I was designed to be alone but it's not that bad tho I feel good about it, to be honest
It just makes you stronger and more independent and that's the thing that I should be proud of!
This was the best experience for me so far, and not bad at all as a first-timer, will do this again for sure.
Thank you for reading!
