Yesterday, the power station I ordered just arrived. I still have to purchase a portable solar panel to be able to charge it when outdoors but I started testing it right away.
The unit came charged at 80%, which is what the manufacturer recommends to do whenever you are not intending to use the unit for a long period of time.
I plugged my Macbook into the AC section and a set of wireless headphones on the DC. There are switches you can turn on/off for every section to avoid drainage.
You can see the watts consumed in the display, so this is also something you can use as a meter, to know the consumption of any appliance.
The unit comes with an AC outlet charger, a car lighter, and a solar panel as it has an internal inverter.
As an additional backup in the event there is no car available and the weather is not helping with the solar panel, I have fixed an old gas generator to still be able to charge
This the Blueetti EB70, a mid-range unit, offering an average of 716Wh and 1000Watt with a peak of 1400Watt.
It has several outlet connections as 2 220-240 AC outlets, 2 15W USB-A ports, 2 100W USC-C ports, one 12V/10A carport, 2 12V/10A DC5521 ports, and 1 wireless charging pad on the top.
It also has an ECO mode which turns off the unit in case it detects there is no power demand. Finally, there is an LED light in the front panel.
The battery supports more than 2,500 charge cycles, which is about 6-7 years of average use.
I can't wait to start testing its full potential when spending a weekend outdoors. Hopefully, this will be in a month from now, when we plan a new trip to Portugal.
