What HiveWord Is
HiveWord is a Wordle-style game built specifically for Hive users, with two modes:
- Daily mode: free, one puzzle per day like traditional Wordle
- Competitive mode: 1v1 word battles with a fixed 5 HIVE stake
You can create open challenges, send direct invites, and track your progress through public profiles and leaderboard seasons.
Built for Hive Users First
Wallet/login support includes both:
- Hive Keychain
- Hivesigner (for mobile users and anyone without the extension)
Fairness and On-Chain Flow
For competitive matches:
- Stakes are verified on-chain before matches begin
- Payouts and burns are handled through the app account
hiveword.app - Results update ratings and stats automatically
So the game loop isn’t just “UI says you won” — the economic side is built into the flow.

More updates soon as I harden matchmaking, improve profile stats, and expand seasonal competition. Be wary, there might be bugs. If you encounter anything, please do let me know.
While the DNS propagates there might be a few hours where the domain isn't available for some of you and is for others. This solves itself (unless Iran keeps bombing AWS data centers and everything stops working, lmao). Refunds will be offered for any bugged games if you try any of the staking modes and things don't go as planned.
