Hey friends what's good?
If you celebrated it, we hope you had a safe and happy Halloween night.
Last night you may have run around scooping up handfuls of candy, and then eating these tasty morsels. Along with it the high calorie count (* hello treadmill my old friend).
But what is a truly mind-boggling fact, 457,000 calories per mouthful. This is how much the average blue whale takes in when they swallow Krill (Source).
Considering there are, on average 394 calories in 100g of hard candy, and one piece candy is = 6g. So perhaps 16 pieces of candy per 100 g, or this would be the same as having to eat 73,120 hard candies in one mouthful to equal the calorie count a blue whale takes in when it eats... every time.
Dam... ... I would hate to have to give the trick-or-treaters candy in a blue whale neighborhood. o.O
Any who, enough of this whale of a tale in concerns of candy and calories, let's get to the much lighter calorie count of this week's D.BUZZ summary.
