What's buzzing, friends!

Ketchup is the most popular condiment in the world. Kids love it, adults love it, and any meal without it is incomplete.

Ketchup is the iconic tomato condiment that makes fries go from good to great, and is an American favorite. People love ketchup because it tastes good and makes food even more delicious. Ketchup is also a really fun thing to eat because it's like a sauce that you can control how much of it you want on your food, but did you know when Ketchup was first invented it was sold as a cure for an upset stomach?

The year was 1834 and a young Ohio physician named John Cook, cooked up this medicine. Before this, people thought the tomato (AKA "wolfpeach") to deadly poisonous. However, Dr. John Cooke did research and made the wolfpeach, into Ketchup and that took the world by storm with delightful tastes.

Later on, Ketchup would fall out of favor as a cure-all and found its way onto many other meals and uses, such as in those little squeeze packets you get at the drive - through window with your fries.
