Weekly Development Updates for D.Buzz - Today : Basic Wallet and Mobile Version Blog!
Hello fans and friends of D.Buzz!
We're excited to bring you our weekly update! In the last week, we've made a lot of progress on a variety of fronts. We've made strides in the interoperable between D.Buzz and Blog.D.Buzz DApps, and ease-of-use updates to make checking your wallet balances and more, easy to do. We've been working on fine-tuning the mobile version of Blog.D.Buzz, and we've also been exploring how to harmonized designs across all of our projects.
Let's talk about these updates.
Mobile Version of Blog.D.Buzz
If you're not familiar with this, Blog.D.Buzz is our long form enhancement for D.Buzz. While will always be focused on providing the best experience for short form content creators, we intend to create a unified workspace for everyone, which also includes a workspace for the authors that produce long form content as well, were not here to limit anybody, but provide freedom!
We now have a mobile version of our long form content platform, ready to go and, ready to use. You can navigate to it on your mobile phone and everything should format and look acceptable. Keep in mind that this is still in alpha development so may experience some bugs.
Basic Wallet Features Live on D.Buzz
One of the many notable facts about the HIVE blockchain, is that you earn HIVE tokens when you get voted on. Now we've enabled basic wallet functions on our platform so you can see how much you have saved, and what your current HIVE POWER (HP) is at.
You'll now see a new icon on the left-hand side of the interface where you can view your wallet, you also be able to the click claim button and, claim any outstanding HIVE BACK DOLLARS (HBD) that you are entitled to earn.
While there are features that we are actively working to develop to make this a more powerful wallet, in its current state, this wallet viewer will provide you an overview of what you have in your wallet, empowering you to make better informed decisions.
What's Next for the Development Team.
Starting today the development team will be focusing on these next updates to the platform.
If you log into D.Buzz, you will be able to access Blog.D.Buzz without having to log into it, and likewise in reverse. This will enable a more seamless user experience between short form and long form content.
UI (User Interface) design update, to bring our various platforms more in harmony with each other creating a more seamless experience.
When you click "View truncated content" on a buzz, by default you be brought to Blog.D.Buzz and not HIVE.Blog, again this is building towards a more overall unified UX (User Experience) on the platform.
