In the first image, near the top left under the heading 'Analytics Cockpit for your Hive Account', the word 'single' is misspelled signle. The new analytics dashboard looks great. Everything about your Hive account is right at your fingertips there. I like it alot.
In the second image it states the stats are only from Peakd users, and that other front ends aren't included. I understand that to mean that Peakd doesn't detect views and viewing time from connections, but can account Peakd users because Peakd enables their users to track their use of Peakd and therefore Peakd can report aggregated data to the accounts viewed, correct? Also, under the heading 'Most Viewed Pages', for each of the top three there is a time duration. What is being timed? The average duration of views?
In the third image, the first metric reported is 'top level posts'. What is a top level post, and what other levels of posts are there? In the chart of votes received, the last of the four charts, it says that only votes with weight are accounted. Is that excluding votes below the 'dust level', at which processing overhead exceeds the value of the Hive transferred to the recipient of the vote, and therefore are not processed? I am curious about the dust threshold, because IIRC it is ~$.03, and this threshold excludes many accounts from being able to cast a 100% upvote on a comment. It seems to me that votes below the threshold, since they aren't accounted, should not be able to be cast, rather than being cast and leaving the voters with the impression their vote has been accounted. There is overhead in that process the blockchain must provide, and rather than uselessly spinning the wheels, simply preventing such votes from being cast would eliminate that overhead, and inform voters they need to back their votes with more stake to pay creators by that means. I am also curious about Memo transfers, which can be as small as $.001. doesn't this cost more to the witnesses and front ends to transfer than is transferred? I have not tipped less than 1 Hive, but suspect tips can also be as little as $.001. Do transfers of such small amounts of Hive drop below the dust threshold, and if so, why aren't they also not accounted?
In this regard, when I upvoted this post at 25% weight, as has been my practice since I learned that I would quickly drain my VP voting at 100% weight (after the Steem HF long ago that reduced the number of 100% upvotes that could be cast to 10 from 40), I noted that the value of upvotes on this post didn't increment, which is the first time I have seen that happen in memory. Usually the feeble weight of my stake (Dolphin) increments the value of the post ~$.02 or so when I vote a post at 25%. Because of the difference in how votes on posts and comments are handled since a couple Hard Forks back, I have had to upvote comments at 80% to exceed the dust threshold. Has HF28 again changed the dust threshold? Because votes below the threshold can be cast, despite not being accounted, it is impossible to ascertain what is actually happening when I vote.
Overall, I very much like the new dashboard, and appreciate the great work you and the Peakd team do.
Thanks!
