Para participar en esta iniciativa decidí realizar un centro de mesa basado en la reutilización de materiales intentando dar una segunda oportunidad a materiales que ya han terminado su vida útil. Para ello utilicé como base del centro, un azucarero que estaba a punto de tirar al romperse la tapa y varios rollos de papel higiénico, entre otros materiales.
Les muestro los materiales que utilicé y el proceso de creación de este centro de mesa con materiales reciclados.

To participate in this initiative I decided to make a centerpiece based on the reuse of materials trying to give a second chance to materials that have already finished their useful life. To do this I used as the base of the center, a sugar bowl that was about to be thrown away when the lid broke, several rolls of toilet paper, among other materials.
I show you the materials I used and the process of creating this centerpiece with recycled materials.

Corta uno de los rollos de papel higiénico y hacer tres rectángulos de 5 cm por 3 cm y empieza a recortar los flequillos.
Cut one of the toilet paper rolls and make three rectangles of 5 cm by 3 cm and start cutting out the bangs.
Tomar un palo de brocheta y empieza a enrollar los flequillos cortados que formarán el centro de la flor.
Take a skewer stick and start rolling the cut bangs that will form the center of the flower.
Tomar los otros 3 rollos restantes y cortar aros de 1 centímetro de un ancho. A cada aro se le corta 2 centímetros en uno de los extremos y se vuelve a pegar con la pistola de silicona , porque con ellos se formaran los pétalos de la flor , se redujeron porque en este caso es un arreglo pequeño.
Take the other 3 remaining rolls and cut rings of 1 centimeter wide. Each ring is cut 2 centimeters at one end and glued again with the silicone gun, because with them will form the petals of the flower, were reduced because in this case is a small arrangement.
Alrededor del centro de la flor, lo que sería el flequillo, pegue los pétalos muy juntos, yo puse 10 pétalos en cada flor. Primero pegué cinco y luego entre pétalo y pétalo puse otro para llegar a 10.

Con un pincel extendí cola blanca por toda la flor, eso le da dureza y brillo, también añadí escarcha tornasolada a dos de ellas y a una le añadí negra. No puse demasiado porque quería que prevaleciera el color natural de la cartulina.
With a brush I spread white glue all over the flower, that gives it hardness and shine, I also added iridescent frost to two of them and to one I added black. I didn't put too much because I wanted the natural color of the cardboard to prevail.
Procedí a decorar el azucarero roto, de una forma muy sencilla, simplemente puse una cinta decorada que pegué con la pistola de silicona.
I proceeded to decorate the broken sugar bowl, in a very simple way, I simply put a decorated ribbon that I stuck with the silicone gun.
Para rellenar el recipiente y que las flores se quedaran estáticas, cogí un trozo de poliespuma y lo corté en forma circular del tamaño de un rollo de cinta adhesiva que se me había acabado. Luego pegué la poliespuma al rollo y lo metí dentro del recipiente. Este rollo, al ser muy grueso, sirvió de soporte perfecto para que el adorno se mantuviera firme.
To fill the container so that the flowers would remain static, I took a piece of polyfoam and cut it into a circular shape the size of a roll of masking tape that I had run out of. Then I glued the polyfoam to the roll and put it inside the container. This roll, being very thick, served as a perfect support for the ornament to hold firm.
Con un pincel grande extendí cola blanca en la parte superior de la poliespuma y empecé a esparcir aserrín para adherirlo a la poliespuma.
With a large paintbrush I spread white glue on the top of the polyfoam and started spreading sawdust to adhere it to the polyfoam.
Después introduje las flores en la poliespuma y puse unos palitos de plantas secas para decorar, mientras iba poniendo todos los elementos seguí echando aserrín para cubrirlo todo bien.
Then I introduced the flowers in the polystyrene and put some sticks of dried plants to decorate, while I was putting all the elements I kept pouring sawdust to cover everything well.
