Los pendientes son un accesorio que siempre está de moda y puede complementar cualquier atuendo. Así que cuando vi la iniciativa, pensé que sería una excelente oportunidad para poner en práctica mis habilidades y crear unos pendientes únicos que representaran mi amor por mi país. Al crearlos en estos tres colores quise combinarlos con un anillo que contuviera la misma combinación.

Today I present a woven set of earrings and ring with the colors of the Cuban flag, to participate in the community initiative "Amo las Joyas" (I love jewelry), launched by
Earrings are an accessory that is always in fashion and can complement any outfit. So when I saw the initiative, I thought it would be an excellent opportunity to put my skills to work and create unique earrings that represent my love for my country. By creating them in these three colors I wanted to combine them with a ring containing the same combination.
Para crear estos pendientes se utilizaron los siguientes materiales:
Hilos de los tres colores (azul, blanco y rojo)
Aguja de ganchillo de 1 mm
Tijeras

The following materials were used to create these earrings:
Threads of the three colors (blue, white and red).
1 mm crochet needle
Scissors
Earring hooks
Silicone
Thick copper wire

Para realizar este conjunto se comenzó por el círculo más pequeño, que se tejió en color azul. Para lograrlo, se inició con un punto mágico y se tejieron 6 medios puntos dentro del círculo. En la segunda vuelta, se agregaron puntos altos realizando dos puntos altos sobre cada medio punto de la vuelta anterior, lo que resultó en un total de 12 puntos. Para finalizar, se unió con una lazada los extremos y se logró el círculo más pequeño.
To make this set, we started with the smallest circle, which was knitted in blue. To achieve this, we started with a magic stitch and knit 6 half stitches inside the circle. In the second round, high stitches were added by knitting two high stitches over each half stitch of the previous round, which resulted in a total of 12 stitches. To finish, the ends were joined with a loop and the smallest circle was achieved.
A continuación, se realizó el círculo blanco que es el del medio, iniciando de la misma manera que el azul hasta llegar a los 12 puntos altos. En la siguiente vuelta, se realizaron sobre cada punto de la vuelta anterior, dos medios puntos y una cadena al centro, volviéndose a realizar otros dos medios puntos sobre el anterior, lo que resultó en un total de 36 puntos. Finalmente, se cerró el círculo con una lazada.
Next, the white circle, which is the middle one, was knitted, starting in the same way as the blue one until reaching the 12 high stitches. In the next round, two half stitches and a chain in the center were knitted over each stitch of the previous round, and another two half stitches were knitted over the previous one, which resulted in a total of 36 stitches. Finally, the circle was closed with a loop.

We continued with the third and last red circle, which was made in the same way as the previous one until we reached 36 stitches. Then, two half stitches were added over each of them, resulting in 72 half stitches. Finally, the circle was closed with a loop.

Posteriormente, se unieron los tres círculos y por el hilo sobrante se introdujo una perla plateada. Los tres hilos restantes se cubrieron con el hilo rojo haciéndole dos nudos, se recortó el sobrante y se introdujo por el huequito del enganche el hilo rojo, se anudó, se recortó y se le puso un poco de silicona para que no se deshaga, quedando así concluidos los pendientes.
Afterwards, the three circles were joined together and a silver-plated pearl was inserted through the remaining thread. The three remaining threads were covered with the red thread by tying two knots, the excess was trimmed and the red thread was introduced through the hole in the hook, knotted, trimmed and a little silicone was applied to prevent it from unraveling, thus concluding the earrings.
Para realizar el anillo tomé un alambre de cobre y le di forma circular con la pinza. Luego, comencé a forrarlo con el hilo azul tejiendo medios puntos alrededor, de forma que se cubriera el alambre y quedara de color azul.
To make the ring I took a copper wire and gave it a circular shape with the pliers. Then, I began to cover it with the blue thread by weaving half stitches around it, so that the wire would be covered and the color would be blue.
Para la parte de arriba del anillo, realicé un punto mágico con el hilo de color azul y dentro de él, realicé 5 medios puntos. Sobre cada uno de ellos, realicé dos medios puntos, resultando en 10 medios puntos de color azul que uní con una lazada.
A continuación, cambié al hilo blanco y realicé dos medios puntos sobre cada punto azul y una segunda vuelta de puntos blancos donde realicé un aumento sobre un punto y un punto simple, así hasta completar la vuelta, resultando en 30 medios puntos. Finalmente, se cerró con una lazada.
Para concluir este adorno, se realizaron de hilo rojo dos vueltas de un aumento y un punto simple sobre cada punto, así hasta completar 60 puntos que se unieron con una lazada.
For the top of the ring, I made a magic stitch with the blue yarn and inside it, I made 5 half stitches. On each of them, I made two half stitches, resulting in 10 blue half stitches that I joined with a loop.
Next, I changed to white yarn and cast on two half stitches over each blue stitch and a second round of white stitches where I cast on a single crochet and a single crochet, and so on until the round was completed, resulting in 30 half stitches. Finally, it was closed with a loop.
To conclude this ornament, two rows of red yarn were made with a single crochet and a single crochet over each stitch, thus completing 60 stitches that were joined with a loop.
Por último, el anillo se fijó con silicona al adorno superior, quedando así terminado. Me encantó hacer este conjunto de pendientes y anillo.
Finally, the ring was attached with silicone to the top ornament, leaving it finished. I loved making this earring and ring set.
