Te saludo y abrazo

Si que ha pasado tiempo sin publicar en Womentribe y me siento feliz de estar de vuelta, retomando mi espacio mujer con M de mamá, desde donde les presento con cariño una reflexión muy especial, que va directa para todas nosotras las mujeres y si somos madres, más aún.

Como fémina se que deseas prestar un servicio de excelencia, pero también sé que la mayoría del tiempo estas convencida que es imposible llevarlo a cabo. Especialmente en medio de las labores domésticas es cuando nos sentimos como personas básicas, simplonas, es decir, demasiadas sencillas, sin ningún atributo excepcional y es que consideramos nuestras tareas como cosas de escaso valor, poco importantes y notables. ¿Si o no?

De pronto, no será el caso de alguna mujer por aquí, pero sí de la mayoría. Incluso, muchas han llegado a pensar que la educación de los hijos, el cuidado del hogar y la conducción de una familia son tareas de poca significación, entonces no nos sentimos eficientes. Por eso, deseo referirles la vida sencilla de un par de mujeres con historias que nos dicen lo contrario. Sus nombres se encuentran registrados en la Biblia y quedaron inmortalizados mientras realizaban sus deberes, los cuales eran comunes y corrientes.

La primera mujer que les quiero referir es María, una muchacha sencilla, no de la realeza, más bien con una vida ordinaria y seguramente atareada con faenas domésticas en su pequeño pueblo, desde donde, nada más y nada menos, Dios la llamó para encomendarle la misión de ser la madre del Salvador de la humanidad. ¿Qué tal? Miren pues a María, con una historia increíble pero cierta.

La segunda mujer que les refiero se llama Dorcas, a ella le encantaba la costura, un oficio que puede parecer sencillo. Sin embargo, esta costurera tenía algo muy particular y es que les cosía ropas a las personas necesitadas. Si, una labor que puede ser considerada poco transcendental, pero, Dios miró a Dorcas y la eligió para un gran ministerio de servicio a los pobres y desamparados que ha trascendido por todos los tiempos. Aquí, otra mujer con una historia increíble pero cierta.

Ahora bien, pensemos en dónde estamos justo en este momento. De repente trasnochadas vigilando fijamente la cuna de nuestro hijo, quizás en la cocina, ya saben, preparando los alimentos de la familia o tal vez lavándoles la ropa o con una escoba en las manos por ese deseo natural de que tengan un lugar limpio y agradable. Por eso, es que donde estas ahora mismo, es el lugar donde Dios te está usando. Así que, sigue adelante con tus deberes, esos que con responsabilidad marcan la diferencia y aunque por ahora no lo entiendas, un día no muy lejano será visible tu gran obra, nuestra obra como mujeres delicadas y dedicadas.

Mujeres, aunque hoy no veamos la magnitud de nuestro papel, ese que muchas veces consideramos como algo insignificante, tenemos una misión encomendada por Dios. Por lo tanto, finalizo diciendo que sigamos, con toda nuestra sensatez y sabiduría femenina, el siguiente consejo divino: “Todo lo que te venga a la mano, hazlo con todo empeño”. _{(Eclesiastés 9:10). It's been a while since I last posted on Womentribe, and I'm happy to be back, resuming my space as a woman with a capital W, from where I warmly present a very special reflection that is directly addressed to all of us women, and even more so if we are mothers.
As a woman, I know you want to provide excellent service, but I also know that most of the time you are convinced that it is impossible to do so. It is especially in the midst of domestic chores that we feel like basic, simple people, that is, too simple, without any exceptional attributes, and we consider our tasks to be of little value, unimportant, and unremarkable. Yes or no?
Perhaps this is not the case for some women here, but it is for most. Many have even come to believe that raising children, caring for the home, and running a family are tasks of little significance, so we do not feel efficient. That is why I want to tell you about the simple lives of a couple of women whose stories tell us otherwise. Their names are recorded in the Bible and they were immortalized while performing their duties, which were ordinary and commonplace.
The first woman I want to tell you about is Mary, a simple girl, not royalty, but rather someone with an ordinary life, surely busy with domestic chores in her small village, from where, no less, God called her to entrust her with the mission of being the mother of the Savior of humanity. How about that? Look at Mary, with her incredible but true story.
The second woman I want to tell you about is named Dorcas. She loved sewing, a craft that may seem simple. However, this seamstress had something very special about her, which was that she sewed clothes for people in need. Yes, a task that may be considered insignificant, but God looked at Dorcas and chose her for a great ministry of service to the poor and helpless that has transcended all time. Here is another woman with an incredible but true story.
Now, let's think about where we are right now. Suddenly staying up late staring at our child's crib, perhaps in the kitchen, you know, preparing food for the family, or maybe washing their clothes, or with a broom in our hands because of that natural desire to have a clean and pleasant place. That is why where you are right now is where God is using you. So, keep going with your duties, those that responsibly make a difference, and even if you don't understand it now, one day not too far away your great work will be visible, our work as delicate and dedicated women.
Women, even though we may not see the magnitude of our role today, which we often consider insignificant, we have a mission entrusted to us by God. Therefore, I conclude by saying that we should follow, with all our feminine wisdom and common sense, the following divine advice: “Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might”. _{(Ecclesiastes 9:10).
