A cordial greeting to all the users of this immense community as versatile as Hive is. I am very happy that through this medium I have met wonderful people with whom I connect in a beautiful way and one of them is. Thanks to my participation in the "a date with yourself" initiative organized by the
community, they gave me the opportunity to belong to their family of empowered women in constant evolution of personal and spiritual growth. I would like to thank them in advance for this wonderful opportunity to create a space in which I can talk to them about health from a female perspective.
Health is an important topic in our lives, and that is why, atwe want to make a space for it through a column called "Libellulle Health".
Dragonflies are insects that have a very nice spiritual meaning and it goes in tune with what we want to convey to all of you. This little animal, full of bright and impressive colors, is linked to the changes and transformations that we living beings go through in our lives. It also represents new beginnings, love, power and balance, elements that are part of health.
Libellulle Salud is a space that is in charge of my person Valery Bracho () and through it, I want to share with each of you my experience as a nurse and medical student, in addition to talking with experts who are in the area of health or who are close to it, and thus through different interviews, provide educational information on topics that are quite important in women's health.

¿Qué es enfermedad?
To begin the first topic of this column called Libellua salud, I would like to define the concept of health and how we should maintain it.
We all talk about health, since this is a concept that we cannot isolate from the conversations we have with our family and friends, especially nowadays that through social networks the idea of a healthy lifestyle has been promoted, but if we stop to ask several people what they understand by health, we will see that the concept is constantly changing. Surely some will tell us that being healthy means feeling good, being able to live a peaceful life, not getting sick or only rarely getting sick, living in harmony with the environment, exercising, not suffering from "aches and pains" and so on....
The concept of health has different nuances, because we do not all understand the same thing when we talk about it, since it involves knowledge linked to the culture and beliefs of each individual, their norms, traditions, values and a series of elements that play an important role in giving meaning to this word, showing then that this concept is not static, but remains in constant change.
The World Health Organization (WHO) defines health as a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, and not only the absence of disease.
Starting from this concept and analyzing it a little, we can see that health consists of a balance between mind, body and spirit, as well as how our environment influences to preserve it. Health implies that all the fundamental needs of people are covered: affective, health, nutritional, social and cultural. However, over the years this definition given by the WHO is utopian, since only 10 to 25% of the world's population is completely healthy.
As you can see the concept of health has different approaches and the fact that we recognize it, allows us to move forward in terms of prevention, promotion and recovery of health in practice, from an approach of equity and right that all individuals are entitled to.Now, taking into account this brief explanation of the concept of health, we can then ask ourselves: What is disease?
The WHO defines disease as: "An alteration or deviation from the physiological state in one or more parts of the body, due to generally known causes, manifested by characteristic symptoms and signs, and whose evolution is more or less foreseeable".
Illness is just another part of health, and of life in general. All human beings get sick, in fact it is impossible not to, since when something does not work properly at a biological, physical and mental level, our body begins to manifest different signs and symptoms that indicate that there is an imbalance in it and cause things not to go as they should.
