Today me and my wife decided to finally redo a wall that we have been talking and planning for a long time to do, we also made sure to add utility to it not only for looks so we decided to add 1cm foam on the back to help in the winter and summer with temperature change and also add a sound proof layer so we hear less noise from outside!
The materials we used pink 1cm Polyurethane pink base and PVC decorative plaques! + Polyurethane Foam.
We started by pulling out the 2 outlets and cleaning a bit the wall before starting to add the base!
Also made sure to cover the cable from the AC unit and integrated it inside the wall and the socketso is flush with the wall!
After more hard work it started to look like this
We had a small break to eat some nice and juicy food and we got back to start adding the PVC
At this point i had to do my #dailydook 💩 and got back to work again!
Wife made good progress so we did a lot of progress in the next 45 minutes!
At the end it looks great, there is only some details left on top where we will add some kind of border or just paint it, foam works great!
This will help cool the room in the summer and make it warmer in the winter + reduce the noise from outside to inside and it also looks great.
