It's been some time since my last #risingstar post. Usually I share a post about me hunting some epics from opening packs, but today I want to make something different.
This Idea came to me when I was about to buy a Legendary card through NFT mart here https://nftm.art/buy/star. That time which was earlier today, I saw that the cheapest one was tagged at 1.920.600 $Starbits. The cards were L78 Wade and L84 Timmy Papyrus.
I was going to buy L84 Timmy Papyrus because the cards was a lot better than 78 wade. It has more fans, which is 9.000 fans and L78 Wade is having only 7.200 fans. Another big consideration is the IM (income modifier) which L84 Timmy has double IM than L78 Wade.
However before I clicked the buy button, I had different mind and decided that... Ok let's compared first what if I opened packs equal to 1.920.000 $Starbits... Would I get it more?
The Preparation
Ok we are going to open up packs worth of around 1.92 million $Starbits, it doesn't have to be precisely the same, but more or less they are on the same value. There are 3 things I should take in this part
1. The Packs Purchase
The first thing is we need to get those packs first. Luckily the latest update allows us to buy 120 packs directly with a single click. That's a 1.000.000 Starbits purchase of packs.
Theoretically I should double click it, spending 2 million of $Starbits to get something equal or similar value with those Legendary Cards. However I did not do that because I already had some packs before.
With those new 120 packs addition, right now I already have 216 packs. I know it's a little smaller to those 1.92 millions starbits, so I decide to add some again. I purchase 12 packs with 100.000 $Starbits
I think this it is... This is the closest I could get to 1.92 million $Startbits worth of packs.
Let's proceed to the next phase.
2. Setting the Start Point.
This will be two hundreds packs opening, I would not be able to screent shot and track them one by one. I need a starting point and a finish line, so I know where it start and what numbers after it is finished.
For a starting point, I like to use Pizza Bot in Discord. just click !rsplayer "your risingstar account" and It will give you your latest stats there.
So this is my starting point. Having 9145 NFT with a total 570.066 fans, 738.903 skill, 163.343 Luck and 20.056 IM there.
Not The Last Part.
3. The Finish Line
Well at the finish line, things should be easy as I just need to do the same with the starting point... Going to Pizza Bot, then do the !rsplayer dewabrata again.
However where is the finish line? should I open all of those 228 cards? My answer is not a firm and solid one, so I will go with these rules
- If in the middle I got a Legendary People Card, I will stop and set that as my finish line.
- If no Legendary People card, I will open up all the packs.
I don't know which it will end at, but I hope it will be the first one. Because it gives me the best value of $Starbits.
Ok that's my preparation before, Nnow Let's Do It!!
The Legendary Packs Opening
I know it's a bit exaggeration to call this one as Legendary Packs Opening, however the total packs price are equal to a legendary card. So I do not see it is ridiculous... well a bit maybe.
Let's start with the first one here:
Nothing seems special with this, it's an ordinary pack result. I could not say it's a bad one because R512 Bryn could be sold again to get a pack back.
Now we go with that Auto Open Packs
I had problems with screenshooting, because the packs were kept opened and I could not pause or stop it. I think 
I had 3 Epics instrument before and on the 51th packs I got this Epic People, E234 Pheelz. Pheelz is definitely not the best epic people cards regarding he has lower skill which make you get some Ego from Fans-Skill gap, however any Epic People Card is a very good pull from the packs. So yeah I should cherish this card!
My 104th pack was a stunning one. It gave me all 3 rare people cards. As much I was amazed by this, I got worry that I might have dried my luck from this pull.
E245 Bruno, Another Epic People Card here. Unfortunately it is the same as E234 Pheelz that I just got before. Not the best epic people card but I still took it as a great pull anyway
Finally it's a wrap. I think today opening is a bad one, because the end is actually quite similar with I have been seeing before, frequently rare instruments popping out. But let's check the number then, Hopefully I am wrong here.
Packs Opening Performance
The last hundred packs were seemed awful however I prefer to let the number speaks here. Let's see what Pizza Bot says about the final stats after this oppening:

I get 7 epic cards from 228 packs, that's not a bad number however what bad is exactly what I have guessed before, the statistic. I do not get Legendary today, and I have more bad people cards, which is card that have big gap between fans and skill.
However today is not an Epic card hunting review. we are talking about comparing opening packs with this one:
The result is that today opening packs gave me more Fans, More skill, more Luck, and more IM (income modifier) than buying a legendary card directly. And don't forget, as I have said above, today stats was bad, so even on the bad day, Pack Opening still give you more stats than buying Legendaries, and epics too.
The only down part of opening packs is that you get less skill than fans. We have done this several times and always skill is lower than fans, which means opening packs definitely creates EGO.
But still, if you want to push up your accounts stats, BUY PACKS PLEASE!
