It was in August when we visited the place of my in-laws because it was my husband’s aunt’s birthday. My in-laws' place is just meters away from our house since they live in one of the neighboring barangays. Despite being near, we do not constantly visit the place because we have some things to do or are just too lazy to visit the place.
I experienced living at my in-laws' place when we were just starting our marriage life. I had no complaints about living in the place, but the problem was me. The place has a humid temperature because it is surrounded by nature. It makes my sleep so good that my husband had a difficult time waking me up. It was not advisable to wake up late since the place was far from my workstation and we would be late if I woke up late. It happened many times during our stay at my in-laws' place creating conflict during our stay. Good thing we did not stay long, four months into our marriage, we decided to separate. Trying to live independently as a married couple.
So, when we were in my in-laws' place, I took some pictures around. As you can see the place is like a forest. My in-laws’ had only one neighbor in the area making the place so peaceful.
They also had many fruit trees around that you could easily harvest during its season. When the pandemic happened, my mother-in-law became a plant-tita and had some flowers around.
After taking some pictures of the surroundings, we celebrated his aunt's birthday and had dinner. My mother-in-law convinced us to have a sleepover, but we declined. We did not stay long since we had worked the next day.
