So we have to prepare our first bed for broth. And what does it consist of? Well, planting the vegetables that we need. Among them are carrots, parsnips, turnips and leeks.
Autumn beds are very easy to make, but if we want them to give us the best yield and have healthy vegetables, we must make a good mix.
So a good idea is to intersperse rows of low-growing beans that will provide nitrogen to the soil. We can also take advantage of the opportunity to plant escaroles that will give us some delicious winter salads.
Planting rows of leeks and late onions is essential if we want a healthy harvest.
The cold will help us but combinations are essential to harvest large and healthy fruits.
