In gaming, "grind" refers to act of repeatedly performing the same action or task over and over to achieve a certain goal.
I'm not a hard core gamer, but from the handful of gaming experiences I've had, I've come to realize that sometimes life is just like a game.
Once I get into a game, I will keep playing it until I get to the highest possible level possible, like an obssessed addict.
It is uncomfortable at times-very demanding. It requires a great deal of your consistency and avoidance of a lot of aspects of your life to consistently grind at a game. But I would still do it despite the challenges I faced because something in me keeps driving me to want to "grind". The achievement at the end would always be a victorious feeling.
Resilience is a chief quality every gamer needs. If you can be resilient, you can win... Because the silent motor of every gamer is
"When I fall down on my back I'll rise again, because finishing strong is all that matters."
Life is just like a game in some ways. Those who come out victoriously are ONLY THOSE WHO CAN "GRIND".
Sometimes, you'll have to persevere at a thing, and such thing might even be eating you up, draining you in different ways, but you choose to "grind".
Notoriously, we spend a great deal of time imagining the big achievements we want for
ourselves at the END of the journey, but struggle tremendously getting through
the BEGINNING.
Gamers, on the other hand, know that they have to play Level 1 over and over again in order to get to Level 2; And Level 2 over and over again before they can get to Level 3. And if they can just KEEP ON KEEPING ON their journey, learning and mastering each level, they will eventually climb
all the way to the top of the ladder.
That’s how they “beat the game.” - by "grinding"..... AND SO ALSO IT IS WITH LIFE.
