There are some things that we humans easily analyze, and there are some other things that are almost impossible to analyze. If you want to drink water, you need a cup, but if you would like to save water for later, and drink in abundance, you need a bowl or something with more depth than a cup.
In life, our vision matters much more than our expectations. If you expect to only drink your belly now, then you'll take a cup, but if you intend to fill your belly now, later, and be able to give another to drink, you'll have to go to the river with a bowl.
These days, we humans easily analyze the present moment with a cup mind which is about having a short-term vision without considering going the bowl route with a long-term impact.
Having something that can accommodate more water would go a long way to filling us than a cup would ever do, this is the truth of life, but we still want to keep cup-ing it out.
The same can be said for content here and all over the internet.
When we start thinking with the cup mind, all we think about is to just analyze content based on the belly of today. For instance, when we only think about life through the eyes of another. Those who think and ask AI questions about how to live life are prime examples of this.
Asking an AI how to think is like drinking from a dirty river that leaves you unfilled and empty. When we talk about information and content creation, it is important to keep in mind that what we want to create should be much more than a cup of water that would only fill the belly of today. And also go for clean water, i.e., ask questions from another human with a clear mind.
For some days now, I have been trying to dive into the content I create by asking how it would stand the test of time. What I mean by that is that information nowadays doesn't stand the test of time anymore.
It could be that many are drinking from the same river and no information looks new anymore. When you ask about living a good life, you'll always find reading books, meditating, and working out as the main info-dumps used by everyone.
There is nothing bad in that, but the after-effect only means we'll never be able to analyze things ourselves and choose which water could fill us and what type of container to be used.
Today, we have a whole stream of information but none of them seems to have depth, you can only fill them once and quench your thirst for the moment. No information follows the bowl path to fill us and still be enough for others from another era and generation to drink from.
Depth is the right word to impact real damage to the dumbs. But the surface is all we've been programmed to accept as the right path. Like asking an A.I. what it means and takes to live a full life?
