I see a strong soul
In every blink,
I sense a spartan heart.
Whenever I stare for long,
I see a bone of my bone,
A soul like my soul,
I can gaze until tomorrow.
Unknown she seems to many,
Yet, tacit she is, when I look into her eyes without judging;
At first glance, you miss something,
When you peek again, don't do in a hurry,
Nor should you be spooked, cause she's not looking.
At first peek, it's her bright eyes
On the second, I notice something strong like stony ice
On the third, it's like a spartan with fiery eyes.
Discerning
Her looks hear advice,
But her soul takes a slice.
She's one to take the lies,
And still look you in the eye.
I think she's one to be pure in disguise
Like a loner on the rise
That's what I see in her brown eyes.
Sometimes you see her in those scared eyes
Most times you feel her fiery sights
Innocent they look,
But could kill in a blink.
So don't dare trick her, not even when she's weak
Brownish they look, yet wrapped with compassion
Like it's all white with no illusion.
I bet they’re Intimidating, when in contemplation.
And discerning when in provocation.
Surrender
I can tell from her eyes, that she's not one to surrender
Like a spartan with no temper
But still, her eyes are ever-tender
However, I see the struggle that lies beneath
I feel the tension held up within
And I hear the unspoken words humming from her eyelids
They look cute and tender.
But sometimes I see fear and surrender
For when it rains, you cry Cinderella
Look at me and you’ll find an umbrella
Maybe someday I'll find out more,
Maybe sometime I'll realize I was too raw
But this is now a line to an image I can't draw
Still, if this line is untrue please ignore.
But in the end, all I need to be less wrong lies in your eyes forever
So I'll keep staring at them in wonder
And I pledge to not gaze at another.
Just tell me you'll keep fighting and never surrender,
My spartan Cinderella 🦋.
