My son, who is in Holland at the moment with his girlfriend told me they were having cottage/shepherds pie for dinner. From that moment I started to crave that lovely comforting dish.
We had a lovely day in Limassol and the weather was simply perfect on Wednesday. It was my oldest son's birthday and we had a breakfast together at Happy Jack's - Good old English breakfast with fried eggs, sausage and bacon and hash browns.
That evening my daughter in law satisfied my craving for cottage pie.

It was an extra special dish. Les used tips from a Gordon Ramsey recipe.

Oven ready
Last night they went out for Pizza and Pasta and sent me these photographs (taken by my son)
This was at the stunning restaurant at the Marina in Ayia Napa called Margherita's. Highly recommended if you are in the area.
Their salami is homemade - spicy and thin like parma ham.
Hope I haven't made you too hungry.
