ποΈ COMMENTARY
The work of a mother in the family can never be over emphasized. Motherhood is not a tittle but a responsibility. According to william Ross Wallace John, "Motherhood is the hand that rocks the cradle, the hand that rules the world."
God has blessed her with great potentials, from the crown of her head to the soles of her feet. She carries this aura that spices her home at her entrance. Her hands are so gifted that apart from using it in preparing delicious delicacies and taking care of domestic chores, her touch calms, soothes and rejuvenates both her husband and children.
She possesses this great vigour even in her weaknesses. This she depicts on how she bridges the family gaps. Because she is wise, she builds her home (Prov. 14:1). She wakes so early and retires so late. "A.mother is a inexhaustible store house of energy. From the moment she begins her day her entire time is dedicated in making life convenient for the family" (Khurana). What a wonderful mother and a woman of God. He who finds her finds a good thing and obtains favour from God. Oh! She is an access to divine favour. Every home needs her. The best you can do today is to celebrate your mother. And if your biological mother is not - alive, celebrate your spiritual mother or any woman that has played the "mother factor" in your life.
