For week 32..I did a cover of "Rebel Heart", one of my favourite songs by Lauren Daigle who's easily my favourite contemporary christian artist.
I love how relatable her music is and it's been truly impactful to me.🌻
Was this song my first choice for this week? No..but I won't bore you with those details this time😅.
Okay..maybe just a little bit.
I'd wanted to enter an original but I wasn't able to finish it partly because I didn't feel the things I'd felt or thought I'd feel when I started writing the song...but last midnight, my creative juices didn't let me rest till I finished writing it. I hope to share it here at a later time.😇
I'd had this song as my backup, albeit mentally. I did it last minute and I'll be honest and say I know I could have performed it better (I mean..this IS my jam lol).
