Greetings!
These last few days I had a problem changing my game difficulty from NORMAL to HELL I. My difficulty stems from needing to finish the NORMAL HELLIQUARY RAID (LASSAL THE FLAME-SPUN). I thought reaching Level 60 alone was enough to unlock HELL I but I was wrong. As it turns out I need to finish the NORMAL HELLIQUARY RAID. Also, I thought I need a warband to enter the raid but then again I was wrong. I found out by accident that I can enter the raid without any band members when I clicked (by accident) the "ENTER" button on the raid that I created. I am actually surprised when I realized that I am already inside the raid (see gif image below).
1-on-1 Battle versus LASSAL THE FLAME-SPUN (strategies I used to win)
Just like what I said earlier I am having trouble changing the game's difficulty from NORMAL to HELL I because I need to finish the normal helliquary raid which I thought I need some warband members to enter. But by accidentally clicking the enter button I am surprised to be able to enter the raid and so I tried to battle Lassal one-on-one. Lassal is a boss with 647K HP which is pretty fat. Battling Lassal toe-to-toe is a bad idea just like what I learned in Diablo II. The best strategy that I used to beat a boss like Lassal is to KEEP RUNNING and then employ a "HIT and RUN" attacking technique using the skills whenever I have the chance. It took me more than five minutes to finally become victorious against Lassal.
Here is the video gameplay of my battle with LASSAL THE FLAME-SPUN...
Monk Skills that I Used to Beat LASSAL
Seven-Sided Strike
Perhaps the most popular skill of the Monk is the Seven-sided Strike. It is a skill that uses the Monk's spirit allies to attack enemies inside a runic circle. This skill is buffed by the Spirit's Reach which when used places a runic circle inside which all enemies will be struck by the Monk's spirit allies inflicting 8504 damage over four seconds.
Cyclone Strike
Another skill that I used to beat Lassal is Cyclone Strike. It is a skill that is buffed by Typhlot Robe and Path of the Storm. Typhlot Robe makes cyclone strike produce a dust storm that impairs the enemy's vision and deals 8304 damage over six seconds the Path of the Storm also reduces damage by 20% of damage taken by my character.
Inner Sanctuary
Inner Sanctuary is the third skill that I used in beating Lassal. It is a skill that has now a chilling effect that deals 13,024 damage over 8 seconds and it has a chilling effect of 40% on enemies except of course against bosses. The chilling effect comes from the Solace of the Peaks (Head)
Mystic Allies
Before battling Lassal I overlook Mystic Allies. It is a very nice skill, once you summoned two Mystic Allies they will battle it out whenever the enemy is near each other. This is a skill that is "activate and go" you just activate it then you can go anywhere else that you wanted living the Mystic Allies battle it out for you.
That is all for now guys, catch you up with the next one. Wishing you all safety, good health, and abundance.
