Aveline returns from the island and went straight for the warehouse, Blanc was present. Blanc was shocked to see Aveline under such short notice. She assured him that she had left the place after ensuring the people’s safety. She also told him that de Ferrer was gone for good.
Blanc informed her about the Spanish favouring Aveline’s views about slaves, that might aid her to help the slaves. Aveline was happy that her home had held more pleasure than chaos. Blanc asks her to direct herself towards business and the Spanish activity in the Bayou region.
They headed upstairs and Blanc reminded her that she was forgetting something, the equipments of an Assassin. Aveline was relieved to be reunited with her treasured belongings.
Time for business. I made a lot of trades for a decent amount of profit. Though making trips to Seville was time consuming.
Bought 2 Schooners for 4k amount each. This ship sacrifices storage capacity for speed. Not a bad choice whorezone long distance transport but the profit amount would be less.
Bought a Barque for 8k money. This ship had both speed and storage but the speed was a third of schooner’s. This would definitely help to transport a large amount of goods and better if the locations were relatively close.
Old habits die hard. The first person to get robbed was a black guy. Not the first time the black people had lost something. That era was a very dark one for the history of modern age.
Kept up with the redistribution of wealth among the members of the society until finally the main goal showed up.
Aveline finds the recruited of slaves for Chichen Itza. He was blended in a populated area with guards in the corners.
She tailed the unsuspecting man from the rooftops while he was moving among the citizens of New Orleans and visiting various shops.
The man was asked the guards if they would join the cause that he and many others were in, the recruiter’s master was ready to be generous toward them about the matter. The guards accepted.
Aveline made herself known, the recruiter ran away shouting to the two men to stop her. The guards were dealt with easily and so she began to chase the coward.
The cowards ran inside the fort where the guards would trains and patrol. This was their base camp. The man ran inside and the palisade wall was shut. She now had to get inside somehow stealthily.
Made a few extra bucks by roaming the place and had enough to buy a changing shop!
