The witted assassin uses the darkness of night to infiltrate the fort of soldiers. Best time for the ones who commit nocturnal activities.
Aveline instigated a riot between the people and the guards, a commotion for which she slipped right under their nose and inside the fort easily.
She didn’t hesitate to desecrate the dead for monetary value. Rightly so as they had no use of it anymore.
The coward was positioned in the heart of the base, where all the attention was poured. The guards were training themselves and him observing them. He then decided to make a rounds of the place. What a folly!
Aveline placed a gunpowder barrel where the man would walk by soon. She shot at it the moment the man went by and thus an unfortunate demise overtook him. A few guards did arrive at the scene to investigate. She looted the dead body and received a letter.
Now, to get out of the military base. She uses the whip as a rope to cling onto when she threw over a nearby branch and made Tarzan proud. 😀
She opened the letter and saw that it was a from Vasquéz to de Ferrer. It said to gather more men even the Spanish armada if need be as the bayou was more extensive than they thought.
Aveline then makes her way to her informant. The person told her that the textile sector was corrupt to the core. A retailer made the prices unchangeable. She promised to “sew” the matter with Monsieur Chapperone.
The man was walking the streets with 2 guards close behind him, thinking that he was safe. Aveline crept behind the group and assassinated the guards first then their master. She then stole from the dead merchant’s body.
Aveline then came across a board of missing person. She accepts a pamphlet and set out for the missing man.
She found the missing person within a minute, only his dead body. She investigated and saw in her memory the most probable place where the assailant went.
She found the man and tailed him to some extent.
He was also shot by another killer from a distance. She went over to search for clues with the body and then to the rooftops.
She found footprints and went toward that direction jumping from one floor to another.
She knew that she was close as the footprints were fresher every time until the killer decided to finish her off from a distance, the bullet only scratched Aveline. A big mistake from his end.
The killer was assassinated by a better huntswoman, Aveline with the hidden blades no less.
Aveline buys a nearby shop that the business rivals had left behind and bought a new shiny sword named, Officer’s Sword for 15700 cash.
She returns to the warehouse and went straight to the trading board, business was only beginning.
Money was almost out as the good were expensive but there was to be more profit. In the meantime, until the ships reached their destination, she remained poor.
She started her campaign of redistributing wealth. Primarily from her ethnic people. Making an “Us” meme.
Another informant was close by Aveline when she was making her rounds of stabilising economy. This time it was a mogul Shipwright, Salmon. This man had the full support of the government when he charged very high prices for ship repairs. He was currently located at the docks.
A higher law was implemented on the shrewd man but he was well guarded. A massive amount of guards showed up after his death. All were killed and looted afterwards.
Aveline roamed the streets when suddenly CitizenE popped up and was somewhere nearby. She found the man and killed him. A memory was shown.
It was a conversation between Aveline and Blanc. Aveline was frustrated that she could not give the slaves their rights. Blanc assured her that she would accomplish that too someday. Aveline asked what would she do in the meantime, reminisce in the glory of the things she had done? The Templars wouldn’t allow even the rich to be free much less the slaves. People may not even suspect it.
Aveline returned back to the business board and received a handsome amount as the ships had reached port. She then bought goods from the respective places and transfers to the product to the other ends of the globe.
