Aveline enters Monsieur Blanc’s store and overhears about her father’s stolen merchandise. Her father was concerned about the relation with the customers and tells it to Blanc.
Blanc asks the man to make a full inquiry about the ordeal. He volunteered to talk with Monsieur de Saint Maxent. Blanc heads out.
Aveline tails Blanc Gerald into the streets and witnessed his dialogue with Saint Maxent.
Maxent suggested to look into the captain and his crew. Treachery lingered in them as Maxent put it. He was furious as that one whole stole it disguised himself as Maxent and copied his signature to retrieve the goods.
Aveline went ahead to ask the captain herself in her own way. To enter the place she had to bribe the guards. She introduced herself in a seductive manner and asked the captain to talk privately with her. The captain looked like a pervert.
She asked him about the stolen cargo to which the captain responded with a hint of mischievous behaviour. He told her that the goods were delivered to the intended place. He told her that she needn’t worry herself about the goods and enjoy the wine. Aveline left the scene without making a noise.
Aveline sets out to look for the stolen food in her lady persona. As she roamed the streets the local ruffians were whistling and gave her compliments but not in a good manner. She spots the stolen goods and used her eagle vision to see where the carrier might have gone next.
The goods were all recovered as Aveline found all the locations of the stolen goods. She tells Saint Maxent of the news and the man thanked her gracefully. He also told her to notify to her father to expect a good discount for the trouble she had gone through. Her father was also happy to hear of the news and informed Blanc of the matter. Aveline enters the place. Her step-father headed out saying that he cannot be the only reason for her visit. He lets the two be in private.
Aveline had also stolen some documents during her stay at the captain’s ship. Blanc went through the documents and was alarmed to see a name there, Rafael Joaquin de Ferrer, who was a known enemy for them. Knowing that he was around, a simple theft of property was the least of his work. He also advises her to get to know more about the mansion of the governor as a get together was being hosted at his house in a discreet manner first. That way they could uncover the true purpose of the man. Aveline told him that she would prepare her best dress for the occasion.
Another interesting thing about the game. The ability to steal from the general populace. Although I only got in the slave and assassin mode. Just by passing through a group of people made me rich 🤑 and made about 200+ in the currency. I don’t know what their currency is called. If you know, do share!
She waited outside of the mansion to find a way to get inside. Instead she saw the butler come out with a key that he intended to show only himself when he checked it.
Aveline tailed the butler who passed the key to another man. She waits for the perfect moment and steals the key from the man.
