This is the childhood of Avelin. She was innocent at the time. She chased a chicken for which she was separated from her mother. She realised afterward when a guard kicked away the chicken she was chasing, this left her fearful of her surrounding.
She saw that there a sale of slaves. They were put on display where the man in charge was chastising the other for not keeping up shape and was praising the either saying that he has in great shape and was very strong . She searched for her mother in the crowded city and found a similarly dressed woman.
She called for her and saw another woman instead of her mom. She apologises.
A nearby guard knocked her off into the ground. She then saw that she was fighting a group of men. She knocks them out but another one showed up with a snake in it’s mouth and came in for a bite and she woke up with a start.
She had been dreaming of the time she was a child. Her stepmother was worried about her well being and checked up on her. Avelin reassured her mother and she checks her pocket watch where her mother’s image was stored and wilfully asked if she still remember her daughter.
She puts on the assassin’s robe and headed out into the dark night, sticking to the rooftops and eventually to a small escalated hut. A message was stored there. She check it and went over to the mentioned location, the top of the Bell tower.

The fighting mechanisms were still the same. She was a feisty creature who had 3 different modes/personas. Typical XD. One was her slave getup, her assassin getup, and her lady getup. Each one had it’s own perks and drawbacks.
Here the objective was to get into the slave persona but I was held up but the guards. I finished them off and looted their bodies.
A mysterious hooded figure roamed the streets. I followed him and after I approached him I saw that it was a smuggler. I bought Connor’s axe from the guy for 1500.
I blended with the getup as the slave woman. Avelin picked up a box and headed inside. Some guards were suspicious of her but she managed to infiltrate inside through the main entrance and towards the slaves.
The slave inside was astonished that she managed to get past the guards. Avelin notified that she received news from her sources that there were captives who were able to escape but did not reach the safe houses. The man replies that her brothers and sisters vanished, her aunt, and that today his sister, Theresa. He tells Avelin that they were taken and did not actually escape.
She went over to the top of the mansion and views the entire property for the location of the poor woman. The synchronising part of the game still amazes me.
Avelin leapt across the rooftops and found the man’s sister. She was in a terrible shape. She asked Theresa about the perp who did it. It wasn’t the owner but his son. The son found them and called for guards. Avelin took them out with ease and took Theresa with her.
Aveline steps in and her stepmother questions about her whereabouts during the night before. Madeline, her step-mother, was concerned. Aveline told that she just went out for some fresh air and she was a grown woman, she needn’t so much worrying. Madeline tells her that there was enough dangers outside and a question about reputation as well. Aveline quickly changed the subject and asked for Madeline’s help. Aveline tells her that when she was roaming the streets she heard a call of distress and saw that a slave woman needed help. Madeline agreed to help but the problem was that Aveline brought the woman with her in the wagon. Madeline feared the worst for the slave, a possible execution could be taken for the woman. Madeline gave her money to buy some clothes for the woman while she would made preparations for her escape from the country. Aveline was happy and hugged her mother.
She set out to buy the clothes. The most interesting part was that there was a person who carried the merchandise from the shop to the owner’s house. This tradition is iconic for the ones who were well to do during that time.
At the dinner table, her step-father welcomes her and remarked about her usual time of eating food which was her being always late. He asked about her health and was also fond of her. Aveline shrugged that she would take rest if the her life would be exhausted. He added that she would hasten to that time the way she was going. He told her that she was more like him than an average lady. He told her that Monsieur Blanc asked for her assistance in the warehouse. Madeline asked if that was all he asked for, maybe he would ask for her hand. Aveline showed zero interest for him. Madeline turned to Phillipe who quickly sat up saying he had spent too much time at the table and bids them adieu. Madeline then notified Aveline that all the things have been taken care of for the slave woman and asked Aveline to share more of her “womanly problem” should she encounter more.
