Hello guys hope all of you are doing good.
Connor asks General Benedict about the letter. Benedict feigns ignorance. Connor rightfully accused his of selling out the Westpoint fort for a sum of £20000. Benedict persists on claiming to be a patriot and furthermore adds how this is a plot to expose a plot. Connor explains that the situation would be judged by Washington who was going to visit the place that day. A huge explosion near the stronghold erupts. Arnold seizes the opportunity and dashes for the exit and proceeds toward the ship near the docks.
A huge battalion of the British army also, know as the regulars, attacked the fort from the frontal sides.
Connor had to protect the fort and prevent the deaths of the fellow patriots in blue.
The battle was continuing with the patriots having the upper hand. Connor came away from the fight and caught the sight of the fleeing General’s ship from the top of the hill. George Washington makes his entry.
Connor, with a disheartened tone, professed that he let Benedict’s escape. Washington said that if Connor couldn’t nobody could. He continued, if patriotic heroes were betraying who would they trust. Connor replied that he reaps what he sowed. Connor was still angry about the event about him ordering to push away the natives, Connor’s people.
Connor meets an individual who had kept an eye on him for some time. Her name, Dobby Deborah Carter, had wanted to propose a deal. The war brought the merchants to demand higher prices for ‘the good cause of the cause’. She wanted the people to rise up against such profiteering.
Connor and Haytham greets in a “nice” way. Haytham got the news about Benjamin Church was holed up in a brewery. Connor didn’t want to delay on the lost supplies. Haytham also didn’t want to hold up Connor for his lost cause.
Connor asks Haytham for not killing him the last time they met. Haytham was cryptic. Connor asks Haytham about the Templars’ true motif. Order, purpose, direction. No more than that. Also that he despised the stupid notion of Connor’s group about freedom. Haytham said that there was a time when the assassins professed a far more sensible goal, that of peace. Connor backed up about freedom. Haytham was taken aback. He said that this was only an invitation to chaos. He pointed towards this revolution that Connor’s friends were doing meaning the war between the Americans and the British. How pompous the continental congress was, talking about liberty, it was a noise in the end. So Connor asked about why Haytham would support Lee. Haytham defends Lee saying that he understood the position of the would-be nation than the jobbernowels that professed the need for it. Connor replies by saying how the people did choose a leader, Washington. Haytham declared, “the people had chosen nothing. It was done by the privileged cowards seeking only to have merit for themselves. They conversed in private and made a decision that it would benefit THEM. They might have dressed it up with pretty words, but that does not make it true. The only difference Connor, the only difference between me and those you aid - is that I do not feign affection.” This left Connor speechless.
Getting in was difficult as Benjamin had replace most of the guards with me faces. Connor had to change his getup to enter. The guards stopped them. Haytham said the code but they stopped Connor. Haytham proudly told them that he was his son. The guard chuckled and made a negative remark. They entered and Haytham wondered how life would’ve been had Connor’s mom and he had stayed together. Connor about his mother. He said that she had died during an incident. He saw his mother burning alive and that would never be forgotten by him. He accused Lee of the incident and said that his men was following Haytham’s orders. Haytham protested by saying how he gave no such order, in fact he gave a completely different order by leaving that area and to focus on more productive part. Connor replied coldly and said how that damage had been done and he couldn’t take it back regardless of his attempts.
Haytham gives the dud or the fake Benjamin a formal death sentence for betraying the code of conduct of the Templar Order. To which, the fake Benjamin signalled the mercenaries for ambush.
The Templar Assassin duo managed to survive the place and catch the fake. The guy wanted to save himself by providing information. Connor gave his word. After he had provided the it Haytham swiftly executed him. More mercs showed up and shot at the barrel of gun powders. The whole place caught fire and the duo scurried from the place. They made their to the top. Haytham was cornered and Connor got up from the side of the broken edge. That gave a glimpse of surprise and a long takes out Haytham and the two guards. Haytham was left hanging and Connor saved him.
Haytham was configuring on how to get out when Connor had the brilliant idea of ramming the wooden block. Haytham opposed but to no avail. They landed on the water. Connor then proposed about chasing with his ship
located back at the docks.
