Today marks the last episode of season 1 and I shall share with all the events that I enjoyed today.

Without further ado let’s begin!
Lee reaches the hotel room and heads inside. He found no one inside and decides to explore it.
He reached the end of the dark room and found that the rooms were tied to one another, so only one of the room could be opened at a time.
He turned around to find the perp that had held Clementine all this time. A guy in his 30s, no remarkable physical attributes or anger in his as he coldly held a gun pointing directly toward Lee’s abdomen.
Lee asked the man where Clementine was. Before he could answer Clementine shouts out, “Is there someone out there?” Lee wanted to answer but he pointed it directly toward his throat. He motioned Lee to go sit in the sofa in the middle of the room.
The guy took “killer host” to a whole new level as he held his guest at gunpoint. The first thing he asked him was, “Do you know who I am?” Lee said yes. He then told that he was the guy who’s car was full of supplies and clothes from whom Kenny and the other’s looted from. Lee told that he didn’t take it, the guy asked, “Why?” Lee replied, “It wasn’t ours, and it was not right to take other’s stuff. The guy was impressed and told Lee, “That’s very sweet of you”. Then he started to ask him questions about Lee’s past and his relationship. They discussed their familial problems and the moments they had with their family before the zombie outbreak. And when the pandemic started, both of them had lost their wives to the dead.
The most intriguing part of the conversation is where this guy knew almost everything about Lee’s choices starting from the drugstore to their time in Savannah and that was not due to Clementine. He showed Lee his own walkie-talkie, that’s how he listened in to everyone that was being transmitted.
The guy asks Lee about his difficult choices about whom to save and whom to leave. He accused Lee of killing Doug and saving the hot chic(Carly). Then he accused Lee of killing a guy with a pitch fork in front of a little girl at St. John Dairy. He accused Lee of bringing Clementine to one of the most dangerous place in the city(Crawford).
He later proposed to Lee an offer, that he could take Clementine with him and he could have a family again. Lee told that he was bitten and apologised to him for causing his family trouble. The guy apologised as well. He hunched over and was talking to his hand back, saying that they could be a family once again.
Clementine took this opportunity to get out of the room and untied the rope. Lee motioned her toward the cleaver.
She cautiously tiptoed toward the hunched guy and buried it in his left shoulder. Lee seized this opportunity and kicked his chest. The guy kicked Lee and they both fell to the ground. The gun fell to the end of the room, the guy was running toward it.
Lee got up and caught the guy by his throat. He didn’t let go and kept banging his head to the wall until he passed out. Lee went back to the gun and shot his brains out. Clementine rushed in to hug Lee and told him sorry for leaving.
Lee walked around the room before leaving. He found that the hand bag had a head of a lady, probably his wife. He instructed her not to look inside.
He went to the end of the room toward a closet and opened it out of pure curiosity. He found a walker that didn’t lunge at him immediately. He brought the guy down and shot his head. Clementine noticed it and found that it didn’t bite him. Lee said that it was probably because he smelled like them.
He then covers Clementine with the insides of the dead walker in hopes that it would camouflage her as well.
Then, they took to the streets passing by walkers that took a look at them and then went their own way as if recognising Lee and Clementine as their own.
They walked a little further ahead and fin the right hand side Clementine and Lee dis overs someone they never thought they would encounter. Clementine’s parents now turned into walkers. Clementine’s eyes were fixed on them, Lee was about to ask her not to go over but he collapsed for the high fever as his body turned pale and slowly transitioned.
Clementine took him to an abandoned hardware store of sort. When Lee came to, she said that there were thousands of them outside and that she locked herself and Lee inside. Lee told her to open the door immediate and that’s where Lee broke the terrible news of him being bitten. She was in utter shock.
Hey tried to open the shutter door but failed. The keys to it were with the guy in the room.
Lee instructs her as to how she would evade him. She asked him to snatch the handcuffs off of him and handcuff the guy to one side.
She did it after a little motivation but after doing it the walker’s arm was torn apart as it broke free from its constraints. It grabbed Clementine by the feet as she struggled to get away from it. She wriggled and frothed and from the commotion a stand that was beside the door was struck. It fell on top of the walker as Lee instructed her to get out of the way. The vase that was on top of the stand hit Lee in the head.
Lee was discombobulated but through the dizziness he passed a baseball bat to Clementine who didn’t hesitate to bust out the brains of the walker that tried to take a chunk out of her.
She leaned in close to Lee. She begged him not to turn. This was a part that made my heart sad 😔 and I honestly wanted to give her a hug here.
Lee asked her to do one thing.
Its Choosing Time
Lee asked her to make sure he doesn’t turn into a walker. She was unsure but Lee told her that she could do it. She would at least have the solace of not having to see him as one of the walkers.
Before she got on her feet, Lee gave her a few advices. He told her to avoid the big cities, they are just not worth the risk.
And just before shooting Lee, she remembers all the happy memories they had had which all came to an end.
And that’s the end of Lee Everett, a professor at a university that turned to crime and now a hero in front of this girl.
Sum Up
The journey of Lee and Clementine comes to an end as the season 1 is finally complete, along with one of my wishes. But it kinda made me sad at the end, a true turnaround that I never expected… I wonder how will the second season come about and who’s story would it be but I am excited for it. I hope they don’t kill off the little girl in the end as that would be heart breaking.
Some choices I made in the game were popular but others were not making this journey worthwhile as I got slight twists in the story.
In the end, Clementine found 2 people walking in the distance when she was all by herself in this harsh world. Who were they?
