Yes, finally I reach Tesla’s lab. The apparatus and machines were something to marvel about. I am not much of a tech guy nor do I understand such machinery stuff yet I love it. How splendid way the contraptions work is simply wonderful.
Probably THE MOST talked about thing in the era. The war of the currents. They both were pioneers of the work except Edison was a business man who wanted to buy Nikola’s work for cheap. Edison with his DC and Tesla with his AC. Funny how even his study material were all confiscated and kept hidden. An exhilarating period indeed.
The ray gun that got the man-wolf/half breed. Quite a gun this. Shooting electricity!
This is something I have no idea about. Looks like a power storage or something. Or an electric well.
This reminded me of the remote hacking device of Batman except this is an on hand disrupting device. Both are so similar in actions yet look very distinguished. Nikola’s work was shown off honestly. It has that essence of high technological thingy yet it looks out of date from my perspective. The point of views(mine and the characters) are something to make a note of.
Last but not the least, the monocular. We have the binoculars but this was a thing that made me read twice, a monocular. One eyed vision for looking at faraway stuff. Something that Sir Perceval wanted.
The knights were off to another another location discreetly to investigate about half breeds at Sir Perceval’s request. The lady didn’t want to have the Frenchman with her as she sensed endeavours not related to the case from him. He was paired with Galahad later. They were entering enemy territory. Sir Perceval directed the troop toward the hospital.
This was where the 3rd chapter starts. Sir Percival and Lady Igraine went one way and Lafayette and Galahad the other.
The two made their through the slums and were met with some familiar faces from the rebel side. They entered a brothel. Lafayette conducted an inquiry with the ladies there. They were busted however as the rebels were onto them. Their effort to make a quick getaway led them someone. Maybe the gun in the ranks of the rebels in the first floor of the establishment as he went straight for his gun. He was knocked out with a sharp hit from a revolver. The duo made a quick getaway from the window and towards the roof of the building. They were met with a huge amount of resistance by the rebels. One thing I noticed, the fight was unusually long. Very long, as such, I even made a comment here saying that the game knows how to throw enemies. A plethora of them, pouring out almost endlessly. I survived all of it and thankfully didn’t die although there were critical moments. This WAS in hard mode too. The COD matches gave me a boost in aim. The fight starts from 26:00.
A takedown was performed by Galahad. There was another enemy but Sir Percival had joined the party. He jokingly asked if Galahad had stopped for a pint. They were met with more resistance and witnessed the death of a cop. Still, they made their way to the hospital.
They were met with the local police at the scene. They verified the presence of the things unholy and stayed back to safety. Percival hot trotted forward and witnessed that it was infested with half-breeds. For dispersion they called to their nearby air unit, the Sentinel 5. They called for an immediate sonar payload drop. This made the in the vicinity move away momentarily, a window for them to enter the hospital. Galahad and Lady Ingrain moved together.
Once inside, they witnessed the indiscriminate killing of civilian inside. The place was supposed to be a beacon op for triage but now… a sort of feeding grounds for half-breeds. Firstly, they were met with rebels. And they Galahad saw this scene. A half-breed still in the shape of a man feasting on a corpse. The creature spoke! This was also where the character uses the black water of the holy grail. It supposedly increases one’s life and helps one recover. It chased him while he could only get away from it until he met Lady Ingrain on the other side of the room. Galahad called it an elder.
The half breed finds Galahad again and they go for a 1 on 1. This fight begins in the 1:16:20 second mark. The fight was moving in Galahad’s favour until he took a few critical hits from the creature and Ingrain had to move in. The creature had broken her neck and so Galahad with one desperate swing with the axe hit the wolf and it died. Lady Ingrain was incapacitated.
He makes her drink the water she was bestowed with and carried her to the psychiatric ward. He lays her in a bed while searching more about the place. And it was getting too late for me so i turned it off the the time.
