The End of the Trilogy
Dark Souls III was conceived to close the history of this great franchise so its main argument will not leave anyone indifferent since it shows us the kingdom of Lothric plunged almost in total darkness due to the curse of the undead, however, there is a small light of hope which has not allowed everything to add up completely in the dark and with it this leads to the apocalypse, the reason why this has not happened is due to the great sacrifice made by Heroes and Gods to relight the flame original, the only one capable of containing such a catastrophe at a high cost, their lives.
A Hard and Addictive Adventure
At the beginning of the game we will be able to make our character and customize their features with many options available for his face, hair, skin color, eye color, height, texture, brands and many other things but the most remarkable thing of always in these installments has been classes, and in Dark Souls III we can choose between being a Knight, Mercenary, Herald, Assassin, Warrior, Sorcerer, Thief, Pyromaniac, Cleric and Outcast, of course it is up to us to choose the class that best suits our style of game and the type of weapons we want to use.
Although Dark Souls is difficult, its gameplay is not since basically what we will do is travel the world, we can equip ourselves with weapons such as swords, knives, axes, shield and many more things, we can also level up our attributes in the link sanctuary of fire with the help of the guardian, for this we will need to get souls which we get by destroying our enemies, but we must be very careful since if they kill us we could lose them. Additionally in the game there will be bonfires that we can use as a starting save point and at the same time to transport ourselves from one area to another without having to go through everything again.
Through the game we will face several bosses, some of them will be optional and others not, but what we cannot lose sight of is our main mission, to annihilate the 5 Lords of Ash that are Yhorm, Lorian and Lothric, Ludleth , Aldrich and Watchers of the Abyss, That is not the exact order in which they appear but the important thing is to know that we will have to focus everything learned in combat and study their attack patterns to be able to annihilate them.
Although Dark Souls graphically has always looked pretty good, the truth is that with advances in technology and with the passage of time it has been possible to make this game look even better than its predecessors in all aspects, its graphics are quite realistic, the modeling and design of textures for both the characters and the settings is quite detailed, additionally it has very high level ambient occlusion, something that will make the lighting in a game as gloomy as Dark Souls feel even more realistic.
In Summary
Dark Souls is the only game that game after game is capable of awakening hate and love at the same time and it is that who does not hate dying, but at the same time who does not love that characteristic difficulty of the Dark Souls that makes defeating a boss or completing any area feels so rewarding, also this installment is larger than the previous ones so it gives us a little more freedom but also more difficulty, its graphic section is quite outstanding in all aspects if we take into account that this game was released in 2016. In summary, if you have played any previous installment of this Dark Souls III saga you will love it because it has improved in all aspects and has become even more difficult, on the other hand if you have not played any installment it is advisable to give it a chance at this game because in the end you won't want to stop playing this wonderful game no matter how many times you die.
