Batman Arkham City First Hour Impressions

Hello everyone. How are you. Today I reviewed a game that probably all of you can probably run on your PC, Batman Arkham City. This game came out in 2011 and if you've bought a new computer in the last couple of years, you can probably enjoy this game. Sometimes I like to try old games like this. Because I know that not everyone has a good computer and since the system requirements are not too high, it is possible to enjoy this game fluently. Let's get started.

Accept the Graphics as a Stylized, not Old

The first thing I want to talk about is graphics. Old games have a unique graphic design. It's not very realistic and they made very admirable graphics in their time. Of course, if you compare it with the recent Batman games, these graphics pale in comparison. But as I said, the advantage of this is that today's computers can run Batman Arkham City easily.

But another thing is getting used to it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. The graphics take some getting used to. Especially after going through the latest technology games, it can feel a bit strange. But I played the game for the first hour and after 15 minutes or so I got used to the graphics. I accepted it as a style and played more comfortably this way.

Exploration mechanics are amazing. You will love it.

Fight Mechanics Surprised Me

Honestly, it seemed a bit simple. I played the game on PC and you only need to press mouse click 1 to hit. If you want to fight creatively, the first simple method is to surprise the enemy with your cape.

The second way is to use the gadgets that Batman has. If you use tools like the batarang or batclaw, the game can be fun. But if you don't use these tools, the game will be boring. Because you will only be pressing one button. Of course, we should also not forget the mouse 2 button for Block ahahhahaha. But this is basically the fight mechanics. So it can be fun to focus on the story. At least until you learn how to use Batman's gadgets.

The Story Begins Powerful and Surprising

The Batman story we've been waiting for, we try to hide the secret identity. But in this game, within the first 10 minutes, you see that there are some bad guys who know who Bruce is. You find out sadly... So it feels a different pressure!

You have to chase and understand what's going on in Arkham City before these bad guys (Strange) reveal your identity. You have to find a way to disrupt their plans. So investigating part begins. Batman starts running around the city to find information...

By the way, let's not forget Catwoman. Ahahahah. You start the game with her. Then, as you can see, you switch to playing Batman to save her. It's a fun mechanic. It's always nice to play someone other than the main character. I loved playing Ciri in Witcher 3 for example.

Anyway. These are the things I can talk about in the first hour. Batman's system of using gadgets is very well done. I think it's worth the money it's selling for right now. I'm at least curious about the story.

And about Alfred, you are always communicating with him and it feels nice. And you can also listen some radio comms. of the bad guys. So this makes the exploration fun and not just city voices and boring. It is good touch.

I think the most important thing in a game is the story. Even if the graphics are bad, we can count a lot of games that sell because the story is so good. So I will play it in my free time to satisfy my curiosity.
