Very often I have mental debates about a type of video game that I don't like but at the same time I do like, it's a strange feeling that I have when I play these video games; fighting video games, that type of game that has become so popular and so influential in the last decade that there are even worldwide competitions to see who is the best in fighting games, let's see, at no time I will say that these games are bad, because they are not, many of these games I have a lot of fun when I spend the afternoon playing them with my friends.
My relationship with fighting games is something a bit weird, first of all because they are games that I personally would not play in the first instance and probably if it wasn't for my friends I would never play but I have to admit that there are fighting games that are super good and highly fun to hang out or even take it to a more professional level. For none of us is a secret how popular are the competitions of these games, we have tournaments like the famous EVO that brings together a lot of people to see who is the most capable in their fighting games.
It is great the level of popularity that fighting games have that at least almost everyone who has a console has a game of this style in their collection, even I have more than one added to my list and I do not regret having it. The popularity of these games goes a little bit back to the beginning of the 2000's, I can't imagine how fond people could be when Street Fighter saw the light in 1987. All those people waiting to play on the Arcade machines, I can imagine them and in a way I would have liked to have been there.
But Street Fighter is not the only style that was a revolution in the industry, Mortal Kombat and its characteristic way of modeling the characters marked a stage in the technology that was being handled in video games and although some people did not like Mortal Kombat in those years I have to say that they were not so bad, I tried one of those several years ago and I had fun, of course they do not compare in complexity with current games but they were fun that after all that was the goal.
The EVO tournament is a showcase of the importance of fighting games, when I see these types of competitions and how agile people are in the games they set out to master it makes me want to play them but then I realize the reality and see that it's not as easy as they make it look. Although there are not all the fighting games that I would want to see if there are the most popular ones like Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Tekken, Guiltty Gear and a few others.
My favorite fighting video game is a little complicated to find in a tournament like EVO because it is not very balanced, its combat system is simple but it can become a little complex in terms of the combat itself and not its mechanics, the Naruto Storm video game series is not characterized by its complex mechanics but rather I would say by the "strategic" that can become the fights, for those who know these games know that this is the mechanics of the trunks that is a characteristic element of the anime and games that if you run out of that unless you are very careful can pay dearly.
It may be that my favorite fighting game is not balanced at the character level since not any character can beat another, in these cases is when I turn to games like Tekken that are much more balanced and fun to play with friends, besides I can take the boldness to say that learning combos in Tekken are not complicated as in other games, of course it depends on the character you choose, even if you do not know how to play you can learn on the fly and have fun at the same time.
Fighting games there are all kinds to choose from, they are good to have a good time with your friends playing a "few" games, almost never are few games that are played with these games, and even if you want to take it to a more competitive or professional level you can do nothing stops you beyond your own skill in the game, personally I say that if you have not tried any Tekken I do not know what you expect is a very entertaining game and with a fairly high level of competitiveness. No doubt there are many options to choose from and in the end it is your choice in which fighting game you are better.

Muy a menudo tengo debates mentales sobre un tipo de videojuego que no me gustan pero a la misma vez si me gustan, es un sentimiento extraño que tengo cuando juego a estos videojuegos; los videojuegos de peleas, ese tipo de juego que se ha vuelto tan popular y tan influyente en la última década que hasta hay competiciones mundiales para ver quién es el mejor en juego de lucha, a ver, en ningún momento voy a decir que estos juego son malos, porque no lo son, muchos de estos juego me divierten mucho cuando paso la tarde jugándolos con mis amigos.
Mi relación con los juegos de pelea es algo un tanto raro, en primer lugar porque son juegos que personalmente no jugaría en primera instancia y que probablemente si no fuese por mis amigos nunca jugaría pero tengo que reconocer que hay juegos de peleas que son súper buenos y altamente divertidos para pasar el rato o incluso tomarlo a un nivel más profesional. Para ninguno de nosotros es un secreto lo popular que son las competiciones de estos juegos, tenemos torneos como el famoso EVO que agrupa a un muchas personas para ver quién es el más capaz en sus juegos de peleas.
Es grandioso el nivel que popularidad que los juegos de peleas tiene que por lo menos casi todas las personas que tiene una consola tiene un juego de este estilo en su colección, hasta yo tengo más de uno añadido a mi lista y no me arrepiento de tenerlo. La popularidad de estos juegos va un poco más atrás del inicio de los 2000, no me imagino lo aficionados que podrían estar las personas cuando Street Fighter vio la luz en 1987. Todas esas personas esperando para jugar en las máquinas de Arcade, me las imagino y de cierto modo me habría gustado estar ahí.
Pero Street Fighter no es el único de estilo que supuso una revolución en la industria, Mortal Kombat y su manera característica del modelado de los personajes marco una etapa en la tecnología que se venía manejando en los videojuegos y aunque a algunas personas no les gustase Mortal Kombat en aquellos años tengo que decir que no eran tan malos, probé uno de esos hace ya varios años atrás y me divertí, claro que no se comparan en cuanto a complejidad con los juegos actuales pero eran divertidos que al fin y al cabo ese era el objetivo.
El torneo EVO es una muestra de la importancia de los juegos de peleas, cuando veo este tipo de competiciones y lo ágil que son las personas en los juegos que se proponen a dominar me hace querer jugarlos pero luego me doy cuenta de la realidad y veo que no es tan fácil como lo hacen parecer. Aunque no están todos los juegos de peleas que yo querría ver si están los más populares como Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Tekken, Guiltty Gear y otros cuantos.
Mi videojuego de peleas favorito es un poco complicado de encontrar en un torneo al estilo de EVO porque no es muy balanceado que digamos, su sistema de combate es simple pero se puede tornar un poco complejo en cuanto al combate en sí y no a sus mecánicas, la serie de videojuegos de Naruto Storm no se caracteriza por sus complejas mecánicas sino que más bien diría por lo “estratégico” que pueden volverse los combates, para el que conozca estos juegos saben que esta la mecánicas de los troncos que es un elemento característico del anime y de los juegos que si te quedas sin eso a no ser que seas muy cuidadoso puede pagarlo caro.
Puede que mi videojuego favorito de peleas no este balanceado a nivel de personajes puesto que no cualquier personaje puede ganarle a otro, en estos casos es cuando recurro a juegos como Tekken que son muchísimo más balanceados y muy divertidos para jugar con amigos, aparte de puedo tomar el atrevimiento de decir que aprender combos en Tekken no están complicado como en otros juegos, claro que depende del personajes que elijas, incluso aunque no sepas jugar puedes ir aprendiendo sobre la marcha y divertirte al mismo tiempo.
Juegos de peleas hay de todo tipo para escoger, son buenos para pasar un buen rato con tus amigos jugando unas “cuantas” partidas, casi nunca son pocas las partidas que se juegan con estos videojuegos, he incluso si lo quieres tomar a un nivel más competitivo o profesional puedes hacerlo nada te frena más allá de tu propia habilidad en el juego, personalmente les digo que si no han probado algún Tekken no sé a qué esperan es un videojuego bastante entretenido y con un nivel de competitividad bastante alto. Sin duda hay muchas opciones para escoger y al final es tu elección en cual juego de pelea eres mejor.
