Recently I have been writing down my 'Greatest Moments in Gaming' in a red Journal and my goal is to fill it with all types of stories, Gaming with friends, times I've pulled off a maneuver that would be difficult to replicate, interactions with random players on either my team or the enemy team. I've learned that I find a great sense of enjoyment from those events than actually playing the game regularly, I hope that the players that where there when they happened also talk about them because quite frankly a lot of it felt incredulous and even now seem ridiculous that it actually occured.
Behold the Journal of tales!
This is where I am writing everything down. I do not want the stories to seem like I am painting myself as the only player who won everytime so I have been asking Friends what they remember of the games we partied together in and what their thoughts were during those moments we were all yelling into the voice chat at what was happening, this has helped add some depth to the story and ground my writing a bit. I am also doing this because a lot of the players I party with are all moving to different games and it is getting harder to find a game we all generally agree to play together, so it's a way for me to recall all the adventures we had or created.

I have often been told that the way I play games are 'Unorthodox' to the regular and that has actually been the reason a lot of craziness has happened in my gaming. I mean how can the enemy know what I am doing if I don't even know what I am doing? I want to inspire people with these stories to take those chances to do a crazy move or tactic that completely puts the meta upside down and other players have no idea what to do about what they are witnessing, those bits of chaos are the best part.
I used to save screenshots and record small gameplay clips to capture the moment but a dead hard drive or needing to reformat a computer deletes all those and not being able to see them again really sucks. At least on paper I can picture it in my head while reading the story and chuckle at the whacky adventures.
What methods do you use to recall great moments that have occured during your gaming sessions? I have been using a Journal to create my 'Historical Documents' and Aureal.one to record myself retelling my gaming tales for others to hear and have a good laugh.
Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed.
Happy Gaming!
