Welcome to a new post, this is my first post about a food game, it's crazy hahah, it's been a long time since I played anything remotely similar, the last cooking game I played was on a DS LITE I don't remember the name a lot but it was sooo popular, I managed to get the name on google, it was called Cooking Mama, unfortunately I don't remember finishing the game.

No matter how many hours I've spent playing Cooking Mama, I'm never interested in playing a cooking game again or with that kind of theme, strangely I love cooking and watching cooking videos, especially some of "La Capital" I find it interesting and I like having the ability to cook something very tasty. Anyway, how do I get to download OverCooked 2! It was thanks to my good partner Hive account@oldfool, a few weeks ago we bought the Xbox gamepass where said game is located, we spent several days trying to play but for some reason it was a problem connecting the first few days, it was so annoying that we decided to leave it for another day.

Since there was so much trouble connecting, I imagined that it would be impossible to play it together, so I decided to start the story world alone, I got through a few levels and I'm going to be honest, I underestimated the game a lot, after all it's just a cooking game TRUE? That's how I thought the game is quite complicated and has some tedious mechanics to follow, there are cooking times, cutting the food, the movement between the characters and teamwork is highly essential, in these aspects the game is quite realistic.

After playing a couple of levels I understood more the indications that the game provides you, in one of the levels I managed to ignore the warnings and it was fatal because I couldn't even complete a delivery, it was a resounding failure, it has also been difficult for me to adapt The controls are somewhat strange at least at the beginning, after knowing the controls correctly you go to the other phase, the coordination with yourself, since you have to control two characters at the same time, doing different tasks to execute a single one, many times due to stress I leave one of the characters abandoned, without doing anything and it is fatal because I start to lose orders and I end up lowering the reputation of my restaurant, on some maps there are diners who cross your path and move you, it is another obstacle of the that you have to be aware, never imagine such a level of difficulty for a game that looks so friendly, definitely not something that a small child can play.

To play in multiplayer there is a small inconvenience, I am not sure if we host the game or if it is the game itself, but in the multiplayer part it is really complicated due to the lag issue, sometimes just the fact of taking or leaving objects in The tables are annoying, they don't come loose, they fall in the wrong place, we lose valuable seconds and in a game like this where there is a timer it is literally a pain in the ass, but despite the fact that there is lag the game is widely enjoyable with a friend, even with lag we managed to pass a modest number of levels with three stars, but there was a level where we couldn't even reach one star, there are extremely complicated recipes, if it's already difficult in multiplayer mode I don't even want to imagine how complicated it would be It must be playing alone or maybe it's easier. I guess it all depends on the player.

As far as we know, the game is for a maximum of 4 people. There are two of us, so if one day you feel like playing, you can comment here in this post and we agreed on a day to play in a group with Hive account@oldfool, the worst complications I had in the kitchen playing next to oldfool apart from lag were the errors, at one point we burned the rice and for some reason that I didn't understand turning off the fire was really complicated, I spent almost a minute trying to turn off a few tables, it was horrible, all while my partner I was trying to cook to pass the level, seriously this game gave us a beating, if you really think that you will arrive and pass everything with three stars you are really wrong, the cooking times, the tasks, you must practice a lot to be able to get a perfect score, even At the moment the most difficult part was on a map cut in half, where the ingredients must be thrown from one side to another, we need to time everything perfectly, that level scares me, I would like to try it alone. I loved that this game unlocked some very nice memories of my childhood playing Cooking Mama, it even made me want to download an emulator to spend it ahahaha.

Que pasa gente, como estan? sean bienvenidos a un nuevo post, este es mi primer post de un juego de comida, es una locura hahah, ha pasado muchisimo tiempo sin que jugara algo remotamente similar, el ultimo juego de cocina que llegue a jugar fue en un DS LITE no recuerdo mucho el nombre pero si era muuuy popular, logre conseguir el nombre en google, se llamaba Cooking Mama, lamentablemente no recuerdo haber terminado el juego.

Por mas horas que haya pasado jugando Cooking Mama nunca me intereso volver a jugar un juego de cocina o con ese tipo de temática, extrañamente me encanta cocinar y ver videos de cocina, especialmente algunos de "La Capital" me parece interesante y me gusta tener la habilidad de poder cocinar algo muy rico. En fin como llegue a descargar OverCooked 2! fue gracias a mi buen compañero Hive account@oldfool, hace unas semanas compramos el gamepass de Xbox donde se encuentra dicho juego, estuvimos varios dias intentando jugar pero por alguna razon fue un problema conectarse los primeros días, fue tan fastidioso que decidimos dejarlo para otro dia.

Como hubo tanto problema para conectarnos me imagine que seria imposible jugarlo juntos, así que decidí comenzar el mondo historia de forma solitaria, llegue pasar unos cuantos niveles y voy a ser sincero, subestimaba mucho el juego, después de todo solo es un juego de cocina cierto? así pensaba yo el juego es bastante complicado y tiene algunas mecánicas tediosas de seguir, hay tiempos de coccion, de cortar la comida, el movimiento entre los personajes y el trabajo en equipo es altamente fundamental, en estos aspectos el juego es bastante realista.

Despues de jugar un par de niveles comprendí mas las indicaciones que te proporciona el juego, en uno de los niveles llegue a ignorar los avisos y fue fatal porque no pude completar ni si quiera una entrega, fue un fracaso rotundo, también me ha costado adaptarme a los controles son algo extraños al menos al principio, después de conocer correctamente los controles pasa a la otra fase, la coordinación contigo mismo, ya que tienes que controlar a dos personajes al mismo tiempo, haciendo diferentes tareas para ejecutar una sola, muchas veces por el estrés dejo uno de los personajes abandonado, sin hacer nada y es fatal porque comienzo a perder ordenes y termino bajando la reputación de mi restaurante, en algunos mapas hay comensales que se te atraviesan en el medio y te mueven, es otro obstáculo del que tienes que estar pendiente, nunca imagine tal nivel de dificultad para un juego que se ve tan amigable, definitivamente no es algo que un niño pequeño pueda jugar.

Para jugar en multijugador hay un pequeño inconveniente, no estoy seguro si nosotros hosteamos la partida o si es el propio juego, pero en la parte de multijugador es realmente complicada por el tema del lag, a veces solo el hecho de tomar o dejar objetos en las mesas es un fastidio, no se sueltan, caen en el lugar equivocado perdemos segundos valiosos y en juego como este donde hay un cronometro es un dolor ene culo de forma literal, pero a pesar de que haya lag el juego es ampliamente disfrutable con un amigo, incluso con lag logramos pasar una modesta cantidad de niveles con tres estrellas, pero hubo un nivel donde ni si quiera podíamos llegar a una estrella, hay recetas sumamente complicadas, si ya es difícil en modo multijugador no me quiero ni imaginar lo complicado que debe ser jugando solo o tal vez sea mas fácil. Supongo que todo depende del jugador.

Hasta donde sabemos el juego es de 4 personas como máximo.. Somos dos así que si algún día les apetece jugar pues pueden comentarlo aquí en este post y acordamos un día para jugar en grupo junto a Hive account@oldfool, las peores complicaciones que tuve en la cocina jugando a junto a oldfool aparte de lag eran los errores, en un momento quemamos el arroz y por alguna razon que no entendia apagar el fuego era realmente complicado, pase casi un minuto intentar apagar unas cuantas mesas, fue horrible, todo mientras mi compañero trataba de cocinar para pasar el nivel, enserio este juego nos dio una paliza, si realmente crees que llegaras y pasaras todo con tres estrellas estas realmente equivocado, los tiempos de cocción, las tareas, debes practicar mucho para poder conseguir un score perfecto, hasta el momento la parte mas complicada era en un mapa cortado por la mitad, donde los ingredientes debemos lanzarlos de un lado a otro, necesitamos cronometrar todo perfectamente, ese nivel me da miedo, me gustaria intentarlo en solitario. Me encanto que este juego me desbloqueara unos recuerdos muy bonitos de mi infancia jugando Cooking Mama, hasta me dieron ganas de descargar un emulador para pasarlo ahahaha.
