Hola mis queridos Gamers de Hive! ¿Cómo están con sus juegos? Por mi parte, yo he tratado de dedicarle mucho a mi Backlog Challenge. Los resultados...no son tan buenos como me esperaba 😂 Pero eu, voy a sacar otro capitulo del Not So Berry Drama muy pronto.
Les cuento, recientemente renuncié a uno de mis trabajos -por así decirlo- y espero tener de ahora en más, más tiempo para jugar y escribir acá. Pero por lo pronto, quiero contarles un poco de Kirby y la Tierra Olvidada.

Recently I've quit one of my jobs and from now on I hope to have more time for playing games and blogging. Until then, I want to tell you a bit more about Kirby and The Forgotten Land.
Kirby en la Tierra Olvidada es mi primer Kirby. Jamás había jugado un título de la franquicia. Sí tengo que decir que es de los personajes de Nintendo que más me gusta porque el concepto de "bola rosa que se come todo" me identifica bastante 😂. Tuve la oportunidad de reseñarlo en pre-release y me quedaba pendiente contarles qué me pareció.
Cuando hago reviews en mi trabajo como periodista, siempre me cuido de no dar opiniones muy personales, ya que estas tienen que revestir profesionalismo (pueden leerla acá). Ahora acá, en mi blog...el cantar es otro.
Kirby and the Forgotten Land is my first Kirby. What I do have to say is that he's one of my Nintendo's favorite characters...because the whole "pink ball that eats things" feels relatable to me 😂. I had the chance of reviewing this game pre-release and I still had pending telling you what I think.
When I write reviews as a videogame journalist, I'm way more objective with my writing. That is because I need to keep it professional. But, when I write here...things are waaaay different.
Lo primero que tengo que decir es que el juego me encantó. Si tuviese sobrinos o ahijados, esto sería una de las primeras cosas que les haría jugar. Asumiendo que les preste la Nintendo Switch, cosa que no creo que pase. 😂
La dificultad del juego -incluso en el modo difícil- es muy baja, ideal para los que recién arrancan sus primeros pasos por el gaming. Los escenarios son bonitos, coloridos, llenos de personajes tiernos ¿Y las mecánicas? Muy divertidas.
First thing I need to say is that I LOVED this game. If I had any nephews or godchildren, this would be one of the first things I'd make them play -assuming I borrow them my Nintendo Switch, which I find a bit hard doing 😂-
The game's difficulty is very easy, even on "hard" mode. That makes it ideal for newbies in the gaming world. Scenarios are pretty, colorful, and full of plenty of cute characters.
Este es un juego bastante "de pasillo": no vas a tener demasiado por explorar dentro de un mismo escenario. Sin embargo, los escenarios están construidos de modo tal que no se nota. A nivel técnico fluye de manera increíble.
El sistema de "convertirse en objetos" me animo a decir que fue hecho totalmente en desconocimiento de la regla 34 de internet. Kirby simplemente abre la boca y se traga todo lo que encuentra y...bueno, no hace falta decir mucho más. Pero esta mecánica le da un nuevo gustito a este tipo de juegos -que de otra forma sería bastante similar a Mario Oddysey-.
This is a linear game: you won't be having much to explore in each scenery. However, the levels are so well designed that you will barely notice this. On a technical level, the game's flow is awesome.
The whole "absorbing items" system I dare to say was conceived without the Internet's Rule 34 in mind (PLEASE DON'T GOOGLE IT). Kirby just opens his mouth and absorbs everything on his way and...there's no need to explain more. This mechanic gives the game a "fresh taste". Otherwise, it would be too much like Mario Oddysey.
Completar este juego en su totalidad lleva unas 10 horas, buscando cada una de las misiones secretas y repitiendo los niveles para conseguirlas. A medida que evolucionas tus habilidades, se hace más simple re-jugar estos niveles, por lo que ese factor "monotonía" del platino en el juego no se ve.
Muy recomendado para jugar en familia...¡Y tiene un modo co-operativo!

Fully completing this game takes around 10 hours, achieving each of the secret missions and repeating the levels to get them. As you evolve your abilities, it gets easier to replay these levels, so the "monotony" factor of getting this game's platinum is not there.
