As usual, I dedicate one or two posts each week to talking about the free game on the Epic Games Store. I'd forgotten to do this week because I thought there weren't any particularly noteworthy titles, but I was wrong. They're giving away a classic horror game that I'm not sure I'd play alone at home, but I'll definitely be adding it to my library.
As is customary, the Epic Games Store is once again giving away a free game so players can expand their library without spending any money. This week's freebie is Little Nightmares, one of the most striking horror games of recent years and considered by many to be a gem among indie titles.
The promotion is available from March 5th to 12th, 2026, so you have a few days to claim it before it disappears from the offer. All you need is an Epic Games Store account, go to the game's page, and add it to your library. Once you claim it, it stays in your account forever, even if you download it months later.
For those unfamiliar with it, Little Nightmares is an adventure game with a rather unique style of horror. Instead of relying on cheap jump scares, the game creates a disturbing atmosphere where everything feels unsettling and dangerous. You control Six, a little girl trying to escape a gigantic, dark place called The Maw, a kind of ship filled with grotesque creatures and monstrous adults.
The gameplay blends platforming, exploration, and puzzles. During the adventure, you'll have to move carefully through enormous environments, hide from enemies, solve small puzzles, and use the environment to survive. Often, you won't be able to fight enemies, so the game focuses more on escaping, hiding, and using your wits to progress.
One of the most striking aspects is its art style. The entire world is designed to make the player feel small and helpless. The furniture is enormous, the corridors seem endless, and the enemies have exaggerated proportions that make them even more unsettling. This constant feeling of vulnerability is a key part of the experience.
Furthermore, the game has very little dialogue and tells its story primarily through the environment and what happens around the player. This gives each area its own mystery, and the player gradually pieces together the story as they explore.
Although the game isn't very long, usually lasting between 4 and 6 hours, the experience is quite intense and memorable. That's why many players recommend it even years after its release.

Cada semana como siempre me tomo uno o dos post para hablarles del juego gratis en la tienda de Epic, algo que se me habia olvidado hacer esta semana debido a que pensaba que no habia algun titulo demasiado notable, pero me he equivocado, andan regalando un clasico de terror que no se si yo lo jugaria en la casa solo pero aun asi lo voy a estar agregando a biblioteca
Como ya es costumbre, la Epic Games Store vuelve a regalar un juego para que los jugadores amplíen su biblioteca sin gastar dinero. Esta semana el regalo es Little Nightmares, uno de los juegos de terror más llamativos de los últimos años y que muchos consideran una joya dentro de los títulos indie.
La promoción está disponible del 5 al 12 de marzo de 2026, así que tienes unos días para reclamarlo antes de que desaparezca de la oferta. Lo único que necesitas es una cuenta en la tienda de Epic, entrar a la página del juego y añadirlo a tu biblioteca. Una vez que lo reclamas se queda para siempre en tu cuenta, aunque lo descargues meses después.
Para quienes no lo conocen, Little Nightmares es un juego de aventuras con un estilo de terror bastante particular. En lugar de apostar por sustos baratos, el juego crea una atmósfera inquietante donde todo se siente incómodo y peligroso. Controlas a Six, una niña pequeña que intenta escapar de un lugar gigantesco y oscuro llamado The Maw, una especie de barco lleno de criaturas grotescas y adultos monstruosos.
La jugabilidad mezcla plataformas, exploración y puzzles. Durante la aventura tendrás que moverte con cuidado por escenarios enormes, esconderte de enemigos, resolver pequeños acertijos y usar el entorno para sobrevivir. Muchas veces no podrás luchar contra los enemigos, así que el juego se centra más en escapar, esconderse y usar la inteligencia para avanzar.
Uno de los aspectos que más llama la atención es su diseño artístico. Todo el mundo está construido para que el jugador se sienta pequeño e indefenso. Los muebles son enormes, los pasillos parecen interminables y los enemigos tienen proporciones exageradas que los hacen todavía más perturbadores. Esa sensación constante de vulnerabilidad es parte clave de la experiencia.
Además, el juego tiene muy pocos diálogos y cuenta su historia principalmente a través del ambiente y lo que ocurre alrededor del jugador. Esto hace que cada zona tenga su propio misterio y que el jugador vaya armando la historia poco a poco mientras explora el lugar.
Aunque el juego no es demasiado largo, suele durar entre 4 y 6 horas, la experiencia es bastante intensa y memorable. Por eso muchos jugadores lo recomiendan incluso años después de su lanzamiento
Asi que ya saben, tiempo limitado para agarrar este titulo y tan solo les va a tomar unos 5 minutos como mucho, si no tienen una cuenta todo lo que tienen que hacer es crearse una y al instante van a poder agarrar este y muchos otros titulos, asi que bueno ahi les dejo el dato y los espero en la proxima!
