I have been enjoying Sorare.com these past years mainly playing in the Rare competitions. Each Week, I'm making an update post on what's happening in the ecosystem and how I'm doing personally.
Sorare continues to face the same problem and the game that used to be a ton of fund has been destroyed totally by a combination of inflation which makes the requires scores way higher while rewards have become more or less worthless. I will continue to grind this season but I'm not sure that I will proceed with these weekly posts next one. I'm quite sure though that I will continue playing as it's also just nearly impossible to get cards sold.

Just a quick draft of some Challenger lineups for the weekend
Player Transfers & Reward Card
I ended up buying one cheap contender card as I have been missing 1 striker to submit a team there for weeks. So I randomly searched for one that was playing and cheap compared to the potential score which brought me ti 26-year old Bruse Anderson who ended up scoring in the weekend for 1.25€
I just ended up putting the Tier 3 I won 8 days ago for 12.98€ after failing to get him sold and it looks like the Satonio bot ended up picking it up at that price. If anything I'm glad that I managed to get some $$$ for a reward card and I might look to do some more sales and withdraw some ETH I still have on my account. Right now even though it's not much it runs the risk of being lost in case sorare goes bankrupt while I have no intentions to put the money in the game again.
The Card that I won was a Japanese Forward who doesn't play but who I should be able to sell for about 4$ which I will likely end up doing.
Season 2024-2025 Owned Collection Value
It's fairly easy to track your personal earnings on the Sobase.Football website. We seem to be at a point again where the rewards don't fully compensate for the drop in card values over time as more get printed and dumped on the market.
I am no longer putting outside funds into Sorare at this point and will track my total account value from here on out weekly. It's been pretty much a race to the bottom as sorare isn't able to come up with dynamics where card prices hold their value.

Conclusion
The enjoyment that I'm getting from Sorare surely has gone down a lot as they fail to fix some of the core issues. If I win something or manage to break even I'm already a happy player. Given the continued inflation, this is a game and not an investment.
