Linux beats Windows all across the board, and it has been doing so for a long time now. Windows has evolved into a death trap of dead ends and a never ending hunger for your money. I opted out a few years ago, started using Ubuntu and then switched to Debian, never had any second thoughts. Software Libre rocks!
