I'm a huge fan of Bloodhunt already, this game is freaking dope! The only negative thing I have to say about it is the fact that I feel the PS5's DualSense controller was a bit underused. I was expecting some cool haptics and adaptive trigger action, but that just isn't there. No worries, the game is still a damn good time. If you want an adrenaline rush, play Bloodhunt and try to survive until the end.
The only other bad thing I can say about Bloodhunt is the simple fact that I have been struggling to get into a game. I guess the servers are overloaded or something because in this video I waited over 20 minutes to get in a game. The end result, no match was ever found. I get that the game just came out, but it has been in early access for half a year on PC, so I had hoped something like this wouldn't happen. I trust that the development team will quickly resolve these issues, but only being able to play one match so far of a game that I really like sucks hard.
Don't expect any good gameplay in this video, instead, it is mostly just me talking a bunch and running around Elysium, which is the hub area/menu for this game. Think of how you have the area in Destiny where you can run around and show off your characters with friends. Elysium is a badass church that allows the Kindred (aka vampires) to continue the masquerade and not be discovered by humans.
I promise I will be posting more gameplay footage and hopefully my first win soon. I just have to be patient and wait for these servers to get under control so that I can actually find a match! Ugh, the pain of being a vampire.
