Star Wars Battlefront 2 on PS5

Today I bring you some more gameplay and commentary from the Star Wars Universe. Another large-scale match today. This one is nowhere near as long as my last video of Supremacy. This time it is a match of Galactic Assault.

Galactic Assault is an asymmetrical, 40 player linear game mode in DICE's Star Wars Battlefront II that features heroes, Reinforcements, and vehicles that can be spawned in to turn the tide of battle. This mode spans all three Star Wars eras and has scenarios unique to each map. Galactic Assault can be played on 13 maps. ^Source

The heroes and vehicles are really what spice things up here. The people who do the best the quickest will be the ones to secure the best upgrades. I love how this plays out, as you don't have to worry about luck quite as much to get your hands on the best characters. There can only be one of each type of hero/villain at once. This keeps the game from becoming too chaotic.

This is probably my favorite game mode. All of the best parts of Battlefront 2 are apparent in this mode, but you don't have to worry about getting stuck in an infinite game like with Supremacy. 40 people on the battlefield at once just feels like such a good number, there is action almost always.
