Motorfest multiplayer is wild 🏁🏎️🚙🏍️

The Crew Motorfest is one of my favorite open-world racing games ever created. For the most part, I've played this game solo. There are some pretty awesome multiplayer modes though.

Grand Race is one of those multiplayer modes. Let me give a brief explanation of how this mode works.

Grand Race pits you against 28 other players. Each player chooses three different classes of cars out of their collection. 1/3 of the way through the race you switch from car 1 to car 2, then 2/3 of the way you'll switch to car 3. This happens seamlessly so the race never stops.

Every 25 minutes the race path and vehicle classes refresh. This means that you will almost always be doing a different race.

The start of these races is hectic. All racers are making a mad dash to get towards the front of the pack. Quickly the gap begins to widen as some players crash early on and the cream of the crop starts to take their leads.

Grand Race is unlike any other multiplayer mode I've ever experienced in a racing game. Good luck getting first place in a competitive race like this. No worries, the rewards are still pretty good even if you get dead last. As long as you complete the race, you'll get a nice bit of XP and money. If you manage to place high, the rewards are insanely good.

In today's video, I'll be showing you a recent performance of mine in one of these Grand Races. I started off the race doing well, but by the end fell towards the back of the pack. It's not easy switching your drive style mid-race, especially when I've been playing more Gran Turismo 7 lately than The Crew Motorfest.
