Photos do not do it justice ⛰📸🏜
Horizon Forbidden West is one of the greatest games that I have ever played in my entire life. No, it is not perfect, but it just does way too many things right and you cannot deny how beautiful the result is. One of my favorite things about the game is stopping to admire the gorgeous character models, machines, and landscapes. There was once a time when all you could do was screenshot the game with the HUD and a normal view. Nowadays we have photo modes to stage the perfect images. Forbidden West boasts an incredible photo mode chock-full of poses, filters, and the ability to adjust just about anything.
By the time I ended up finishing the main story, I had already captured well over 100 photos. It was a lot to keep up with, but I did my best to maintain some organization. Folders, proper file naming, and many other smart habits allowed me to compile four separate batches of must-see photographs. This is going to be part 1 of 5. My habitual file transferring and sorting means that each part of this massive photo dumb will be in order from the earliest parts of the game into the later parts.
Take note that some of the following photos are from cutscenes and others are just me roaming around the open world. You really can't tell much of a difference between the two. Everything is stunning and on another level of visual integrity. I would never have been able to capture such amazing images if it were not for the fact that the developers of this game crafted a splendid masterpiece.
