Cherry blossoms are no distraction to a real rogue
I've been continuing my matchmaking roulette in the Rogue Company TDM playlist. After many games since my first match on Season 3's new map Palace, I finally got my second chance to play here. Palace is set in the famous Nijō Castle. You can find this place in real life in Kyoto, Japan. The map is very similar to the actual Nijō Castle's grounds, which are filled with beautiful cherry blossom trees.
The Rogue Company layout works quite well for gameplay. I have only tested TDM so far, but I have really been loving Palace. Generally, when I play Rogue Company I am going in solo, I let matchmaking pair me up with random teammates. I do the best that I can to work together without verbal communication. My team is still able to signal enemy movement and more with the in-game quick messages. Most of the time I run around the map lone wolf and dominate.
My gameplay has been no different on Palace, in fact, my strategy works even better thanks to the larger size of this new map. This allows me to sneak up on multiple enemies by myself for surprise eliminations. The only thing is, after two games on Palace, I still have yet to get a win. I have had very strong stats, even during the game you will see in this video. It just hasn't been enough to carry my team to victory. Trust me when I say you will be seeing a video of me getting a big fat juicy win on Palace soon.
For now, enjoy today's gameplay video and let me know what you think about the new map Palace. I personally am a big fan of the overall aesthetic and the way Palace plays. I think the developers did a wonderful job with this one.
