Can you hear me now?

I record all of my gameplay videos on my PS5. I then edit the footage using Share Factory Studio, which honestly works great and is so convenient. One thing that hasn't been the best is the audio quality of my voice in those videos. I have been my Pulse 3D Wireless Headset to record my audio. The sound quality of the in-game audio is top-notch, I love the headset for that. The microphone however is not the greatest.

Thankfully I remembered that I had an old audio-technica studio microphone stored away in my closet. The model of my mic is called AT2020. I had purchased it for around $100 several years ago. I never actually used it for much of anything. The mic and the filter I had to go with it collected dust for many years. That has now changed.

I figured out that I am able to continue using my Pulse 3D Wireless Headset for my game audio, but now I am able to pair my audio-technica studio microphone to allow my voice to come through more clearly in the videos. It already sounds so much better, but I plan to purchase a better mic stand in the future so that I can adjust the mic to be closer to my mouth. I think you will be able to notice a massive difference in the clarity of my voice even without me having the perfect mic stand yet.

I am so happy to be able to upgrade the quality of my gameplay uploads, even better is that I didn't have to purchase anything new. I nearly got rid of my audio-technica a few months ago, but something told me to continue holding on to it. I sure am glad that I chose to do that, because now I will be using it all of the time.
